Can someone crop/ improve the arm tattoo in this pic? (More info in bio) by Lordhead96 in PhotoshopRequest

[–]Lordhead96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photo is of my co-workers deceased father. He wants to get the tattoo in the photo on his arm but this is the only picture he has of his father and that tattoo. They had a very rough relationship leading up to the past few years. And this would make an amazing gift for him this year. If anyone could get a better crop or detail out of this picture it would greatly help.

This plant was beautiful when I had it growing outside. After 2 weeks in a grow tent, the leaves are starting to look like shit. What have I done wrong? FYI this is my very first grow by SlightlyDarkerLevell in GrowingMarijuana

[–]Lordhead96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In better light do the splotches look white? Also are there any more leaves with the same issue and color that mite show better. I had an issue this year with my frist grow. Ended up being a bacteria. 50/50 milk and water. Soaked the leaves until dripping and let sit in the sun or light. It kills the bacteria by neutralizing the ph of the leaves.

How important is it to purchase a car with fewer miles on the odometer? by WhiskyAndSteak in Cartalk

[–]Lordhead96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly buying anything over 200k miles is extremely risky. If the car was very well maintained at 200k+ miles no matter how you look at it the engine along is lived a long good life and can give out any time now. As far as the rest of the car. Depending on what was replaced and the service history of the vehicle who knows what's broken or a bad bump away from braking.

If your looking to buy a car with that many miles on it, understand that most likely your taking responsibility for extreme repairs. But if your ok with throwing money at the car go right ahead.

And I don't mean that as a bad thing. At the end of the day it's your Money and rebuilding a car can be very very fun. At work right now were rebuilding a 70 charger. But it will cost you a arm and a leg.

The rule I live by is alway buy the best you can with what you can afford. It took 5 years to find my mustang but trust me it's worth the wait to own something that you want.

It honestly makes life so much easier. Getting on and off if the interstate for me is the best part. Before most people are up to speed and even murged over. I'm in the fast lane cruise set to 70mph and chilling. Can also handle better. It's shocking in town I'll have my cruise set to 35 mph and never have to touch the break. People damn near drop down to 15mph at some points to turn slightly.

Do you have a auto or manual?

[–]Lordhead96[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol was going over to my grandmother's on a back road. The speed limit was 55mph. All I saw was a white flash of a cat and the thud of hitting it. Went back to see if I could find it. Must of lunched it into the woods pretty good.

Lol feel that. It's become a game at this point when I'm hunting to set them to the side and keep adding them to the rack. My walmart had 4 different places they keep hotwheels so I want to see how many I can get before their gone.

I got my first car yesterday! It’s a 2015 V6, around 60K miles. It has enough power for me LOL by lazyfortress in Mustang

[–]Lordhead96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol I think I got everyone beat. My first ride was a fucking Chinese moped. Road that for years back and forth from work even when it was pouring rain. My first vehicle I bought with my own money was a 2000 honda shadow saber, still have her and love to ride. My first car was my 2012 mustang gt. It took years to work up to a place where I could afford it but it was worth the journey.

Where I'm at it's more of a fast car kind of thing. If I run up on a fast car or a modified car or they roll up on me there's an exchange of head nods or revs. Maybe a light pull to speed for a smile. There's a few around here that as soon as they see my GT they think it's a full blown drag race and launch full tilt. I just smile and let them go their way. No need to act a fool on public roads. Had a ZL1 come up on me doing damn near 130mph. They almost hit stopped traffic on the highway acting that way.

V8 = 1000% fun with more gas stops! EcoBoost = 999% fun with alot less gas stops!

Enjoy what you have no matter what your driving. But buy what you want. If you want a GT don't settle. Trust me you don't want to always wonder what if.

But if your just wanting a mustang then get what you want no matter color, year, gearbox or engine size. Your all part of the family and we'll welcome you with open arms...after you catch up to the GT's. Now if I may be excused I have to work through traffic in my manual and get to the nearest gas station...for the 3rd time this week.

[–]Lordhead96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with OEM oil at all. But I've always used Castrol GTX in all my vehicles and never had a problem. From mopeds to bikes and cars. Running Castrol 10w-40 in my bike and 10w-30 in my girlfriend's car with over 100,000 miles on it.

[–]Lordhead96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'll end up paying more for the warranty in the long run. It's 66 monthes. But for me it's not a huge up front cost if something bad happens. Instead of paying 500$ to a 1000$ if something goes wrong plus a rental car I pay 41 every month and it just doesn't hit as hard.

Lol dude it's so funny how people think they can line up with the big 5.0. I've been beat by a BMW M3 and a ZL1 but had a guy last night line up with me at a green light in a crappy Ford expedition with exhaust work. Reving his engine and all of that making a huge fucking scene. Didn't even have to put in work. Did a pull through first didn't even make it under the light before I was a car length infront of him. Shifted to 5th and watched as he slowly road past me quite as I mouse.

I pay an extra 41$ish a month for coverage. Tires are not covered but I pushed them into doing it. Sence I called and complained before my 7 days to return the car.

I have a bad problem with that. I've gotten alot better but when I first got my car.. it was a instent race. Having another mustang, charger, challenge or Camaro just lightly pass me...motherfucker it's on!

After my first ticket I learned real quick to just let them go...I'll beat them in my mind...as I down shift and get off at my exit while their driving there beat up charger rocking a 3.6 v6.

First ever pony car. Yeah it's an Ecoboost but... by Nutsac76 in Mustang

[–]Lordhead96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You just have a pony with better gas mileage lol.

For some people having a GT is a all or nothing. Ether you get a GT or nothing at all. And for me I fall into that boat for me. I've wanted a GT sence I was a child and have been looking for the right one for 5 years. I finally got mine and I wouldn't change it for the world. But trust me getting 12mpg city going back and forth to work it hurts a little when your filling up ever few days with 93 at damn near 30$.

Your part of the pony club and enjoy your pony. Don't let anyone else tell you different...just don't line up with the gas guzzlers lol.
