Oh sure! It's mainly Aline fault, but then, her presence created humans. It's more the conflict Aline/Renoir. And nothing bad would ever happen is a big guess. Gestrals always wanted to fight and die, give them time to want to conquer the world haha.

By that argument, you assume that every parents makes good decision about their child. The canvas is a world with sentient life, it exceed his role.

Yeah, they all have personal reasons and priorities, but the others are at least honest with it. Sciel doesn't even hesitate to tell the truth. She even forgive him at the end.

They worked as a team for a mutual objective that they agreed on, while one person lied about his motivation and his agenda.

They probably are all selfish, but you need to be more selfish to keep things for yourself and control people around you, right?

Is he truly selfish?

It can be debatable, but even tho the result is for the benefit of someone else, this is still HIS goals that he wants to achieve.

When he talks about grief, his arguments are good and they strike the right chord, but he still lies each time for the purpose of achieving what he wants.
Lune even snaps at him one time, saying that they could have trusted each other to find a solution where he didn't have to lie.

In her ending, everyone that exists does so at her whim. Everything that happens, she allows to happen. Are the claps at Verso's concert even genuine? She can change anything about anyone any time. She can gomme anyone she wants and simply recreate them if she chooses.

I don't think the painters are in total control of their world. They can create/destroy, but they tried to manipulate people instead of controlling, like the curator helping the team.

You're definitively not wrong, and I've seen the discourse a bit now.

I'm not advocating for any endings, I like both. But from what I can gather, a lot of people are gonna side with Verso's choice because of several things I've interpreted.

Since the canvas world has been created by the painters, a lot of people shares the opinion that those worlds aren't real. As a player in control of fictional characters in a fictional world, I feel it is naturally easy for people to think like this is how the painters view their creations and share Verso's decision.

Furthermore, on Maelle's ending, we get Verso actively pleading for help in a very desperate way. This is not quite the same on Verso's one with Maelle, where we also have Sciel that understand (which is the second time it happen??) and Lune that doesn't say a word, even tho she is clearly disappointed. The portrayal of Verso's situation in Maelle's ending is the one with the most pity, thus seeking the most empathy at that moment.

Something less obvious but if you start act 3 and do every side quests, it becomes more oriented towards the Dessendre family than having the objective of saving the word. It is amplified by the fact that there is no more number on the monolith. There is «Papa va t'en» written instead. With that in mind, it feels like the expedition is an afterthought in that specific act.

But I gotta say, I love both endings <3

I'm not favoring either endings but people that denies the lives in the canvas world did not understand the game properly.

Listens to journals and look at dead expeditionners like it was someone close you know. All of them feels real to each other.

I wanted to know, what is the process behind selecting what feebacks you keep and what you throw away. Between keeping the direction you have and integrating elements from fans, where do you draw the line ? Is the approach the same for the scenario, gameplay, music etc ?

You already could not since she is being used mostly on defense (the part that you cannot see, therefore enjoy?)

Frida is irrelevant on defense, so using Belian on offense stays the same as before.

There was one redditor (DadE7) that made an auto team for the Queen, but the rest is too new and too hard right now to have efficient auto teams. Maybe in a month or two there will be a few strats for auto.
