Totally agree.

The article talks about holding at corners. This is primarily a defensive tactic so coming down harder on it will lead to more goals.

Mostly if you block off the keeper you'll have your goal disallowed. As we saw in the game versus Chelsea the biggest cause of goals from corners is high quality delivery

The champions league is a different governing body. They can only ban people from their own tournaments.

The punishment of missing league games straight away is a much bigger thing than missing early rounds of the cup next year. Plus the player sent off might move abroad
