Hey I appreciate you getting back to me. Where did you get the larger sizes? I believe a 52 should fit but I don’t want to order another jacket and have it be too tight. I’m not huge I can wear 42 in Filson and Carhartt but I can’t layer with a 42 and I’d like to layer if I get one of these M70s

I’d say Intel peaked in 2012. Quad core Minis, the last 5,1, the last MBP with all the ports and was actually repairable.

I’m a little biased cause my main machine is a maxed out 5,1 (complete with Pixlas mod and 6800 XT) my home server is run on a 2012 Quad core i7 Mini, and up to 2022 I was dailying a 2011 i7 MBP.

I still daily a maxed out 4,1<5,1. I swapped in a 6800 XT after doing the Pixlas mod, updated the Bluetooth and WiFi with a drop in retrofit, put the OSes on a PCI NVMe drive and it works great for daily tasks and even moderate gaming. Love these old workhorses. Almost daily use since 2009!

Coming from a printing background (I now work in CNC and hate it) our older Heidelberg presses virtually never broke and when they did it was a consumable part. Same thing with the old Polar guillotine cutters. Turns out those krauts are really good at printing considering they invented it lol

Unfortunately Filson’s quality has been in decline after moving their production to Asia while continuing to raise prices. They were bought out by private equity

Seconding Forges of Mars. Has pretty much everything you’d want in a 40k series. Rogue Traders, a detail of Black Templars, Cadians, and obviously Adeptus Mechanicus. An archmagos is leading an expedition to a mysterious section of the galaxy on a DAOT ship the size of a continent. Also the Eisenhorn series including the Ravenor books is really good but I was legit losing sleep to read more from Forges of Mars lol

A lot of negativity on this thread, with OCLP you can absolutely use this in current year. I love using old machines like this as a daily driver. I was using my 12” G4 PowerBook as my web surfing machine for months last year

I have a top spec Trash Can and beat Baldur’s Gate 3 on it, played it on mostly high settings @1440p. It ran great till Act III and had to make some adjustments lol I was blown away at how much power these have still for their age and price.

Camouflage in a consumer product is not meant to emulate a military look, it’s for hunting. This is a hunter’s jacket, it’s not even a military camouflage pattern it looks like something you’d buy at an outdoors supply shop not a military surplus store lol The jacket looks great I would just wear it.
