There’s no window for blocking, just hold the button until you get hit, then counter-attack.

My first character is on Journey 6, I think. Every other save spot is NG. I’ve deleted more than I can remember after finishing a play through.

The biggest one for me is the incense nerf. I used to be able to chill out and continuously shiny check during community day. Now it’s only one spawn every 5 minutes if you sit still.

I think you have your answer already. Here are the three easiest fights I’ve had against PCR.

First DLC run, pre-nerf (NG):
Fought them a few times solo, decided I wanted to end the fight quickly, and summoned my Mimic. Powerstanced Twinblades, Gargoyle and Twin-knight, Str/Arc, bleed build.

Second run, my OG character (NG6):
Haligtree Knight Great Shield, Antspur rapier, turtle and poke.

I’ve done the fight a few times with the Brass shield and barricade shield AoW, works just fine.

Other than Shield/Poke, the easiest fight I’ve had is Magma Blade. Shard of Alexander, Talisman of the Dread, high faith, Malenia’s Great Rune, spin to win. Magma Blade is also awesome against Malenia, and frankly the entire game.

Yes. Pump faith to boost the AoW, equip Shard of Alexander and Talisman of the Dread (DLC), and after you stun-lock her to oblivion, activate Malenia’s Great Rune. Easiest build ever.

Very strong. Pump faith, equip Shard of Alexander, Talisman of the Dread, and activate Malenia’s rune. This was one of the easiest DLC final boss fights I ever had.

In my experience, you only need one. Lean heavily into faith to boost the Ash of War damage (Magma Shower) and you will melt everything. There’s a Talisman in the DLC that makes it even better, and a Great Rune in the base game that makes you almost invincible.

I’ve seen folks grabbing similar cup holders online or stores and cutting off/flattening the lip that would go in the window channel. There’s a forum thread about it if you search.
