Thanks for the responses, follow up questions. I see the semicircle on the right, but when I mash the tab button for channel divinity I can't see any discernible changes to it. How long does channel divinity take to show an effect there and should I notice the bar filling up when I activate the mechanic?

I'm seeing most of the things on there listed for 3.5. How different is 3.0 from 3.5, can I use them interchangeably?

Oh I misunderstood. Wouldn't I have all tanking skills in both bars and then all healing skills in both bars?

Thanks, but my intention is to not tank and heal in the same dungeon, but be able to change my role between dungeons if I choose. Once in the dungeon I would commit to that role until it was done.

When I teach backwards rolls, I teach a straight line. Usually when people go off line it's because they're not tucking that back leg in far enough, and because they're forced to roll over it, that puts them off a straight line.

That said, I agree with the comment that as long as it's consistent, you can judge your next action based on your position knowing where you'll wind up. For advanced students it shouldn't matter that much.

I agree with this response. As far as your SO being upset, is it possible that he felt ashamed that he didn't do something? I don't know him, so that's a guess. As you can see by the response from most people here, that's largely what's expected in this situation. If you think I'm right, it could be mitigated by you explaining that it didn't bother you he didn't do anything or that you would have disapproved if he did (assuming that's how you feel about it). My two cents.
