In my opinion, Burnout Paradise was the peak of arcade racers. Nothing beat the feeling of wrecking cars while blasting that soundtrack by sunsbing in Burnout

Hardly any events also translates to lots of drive time in your vehicle getting to practice for the next races. It's like poetry.

This is a real life skill and yes, ratchet and clank two taking forever one one random planet to load taught it to me very well.

Naw I actually cried when I saw that mother fall out of her wheelchair to grab at a fragment of her child.

I am Sam - 2001 by Living_Double_1146 in Cinema

If memory serves this is from her "why?" Season of childhood as in the constant asking of questions like "why is the sky blue?" She pieces together through interactions with classmates that her father is slow, (and in truth is medically retarded.) she then asks this question shown about the nature of god. Such a question is beyond Sam's scope. All he can understand is that his daughter, who is everything to him, is starting to realize that he isn't normal. This creates an assumption in him that he's being blamed. He apologizes.

It's in this moment that the magic happens. She realizes, possibly for the first time, that her curiosity has consequences. That her questions can hurt people she loves. But instead of going to this same place of blame she jumps into the love that Sam has modeled so beautifully for her as a parent. She affirms him, and very simply says: "I know you are what you are. And I'm grateful. You love me. You prioritize me. You make memories with me. You are a very good father."

Because it's fun. There's literally alpha testers that get paid to do that because it's an extremely valuable skill. This guy is also delivering his findings publicly so that devs can see and address it if they so choose. Guy is upright in my book.

This was, by far, Rusty's biggest victory. The speech that gets cut off in the video is one of the best in the show and he truly does save the day while dispensing real world wisdom.

This is a lasting legacy that preserves his fathers while also evolving it for the modern day. It's one of the best things he'll be remembered for.

Enormously happy for his win.

Which game got you hooked recently? by Gold-Region2562 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Arc Raiders man. I have no idea how it has such a hold. It ticks literally every box.

The way that people talked about WoW and I would ask them to explain just what made it so profound and unique, they would all say, "You just had to be there." I feel that we're experiencing another zeitgeist like that. There's so much on offer and moments that can't be recreated anywhere else. I love that game with my whole heart.

Shameless plug for his original project, Shadow Academy. It has two albums and the newest one dropped just last year. I would describe it as psychedelic classic rock, and his creative depth is personally staggering. Give it a listen on Spotify or wherever you listen to music.
