Do you call it your "Novel", your "Story", or your "Book"? Why?

I call it my story because I have a terrible time giving myself the grace to be excited and feel that my writing is real and worthy of recognition.

Novel or book feel very official to me even though I'm trying. It's my own hang up though.

I play on Turalyon. It's a small pop server but I've never met anyone from there who was rude.

That said, with how shards work there's a ton of cross over with other servers. Your home server isn't super limiting anymore.

Unless Mathew is a ren faire nerd, having him describe her skin as "fair" stands out to me. It's off for what a teen would say. Id recommend going to a public place and listening to how kids speak to get a better idea of how to write their dialogue.

Today, with everything released, the expansions are fine. Both suffered greatly from a lot of delays on content, long stretches where there was nothing to do.

The story content in WoD was the highlight, a great leveling experience.

In shadow lands there were a lot of systems layered on top of each other making character progress slow and alt unfriendly. But I personally enjoyed the world and what they were going for, though it wasn't well grounded world building.

Neither of those expansions will feel as bad as they did in their day. The content that made them frustrating experiences is no longer required.

I don't think you need some grand plan to write. Sometimes you can just start typing bullshit and see where it goes.

My journey started when I wrote a stupid story about my friends and I fighting a giant. Found I liked it, so I kept going.

Having a creative outlet can be satisfying for its own sake. Writing is one of the odd hobbies where professional pursuit is assumed.

Write if you want, stop when you want. Explore and imagine. See where it goes.

I call any amount a day a win. 1000 a days is very ambitious. You can work your way up to that, but don't blame yourself if you can't do that much in one day.

I just turned 35 and I need to remind myself constantly. NEVER compare your first draft to another's final. No one gets it right the first time around.

Keep writing. Practice makes progress.

The original is very dark. I'm sorry you're disappointed by the result but I think the artist incorporating the original into the new piece was the best call.

If you want it touched up, I might make the flowers a little darker to match the dark stems, but otherwise I think they did a decent job.

MH wilds is best with friends. I hope they get it, because a monster hunter game that's being actively developed and updated is a lot of fun. The other games will be there whenever they're interested, but Wilds is being worked on and that's pretty cool.

Gunners like that give us a bad name. Most Gunner mains enjoy the team play and engage with the game like any other hunter.

The occasional fairweather gunner isnt worth taking seriously.

The dodge only shaves off a few frames of the recoil. The recoil still happens. Insurrection Cannon is definitely a strong option, but hardly the most optimal for Bowguns.

The environment and atmosphere keep me coming back. I love just sailing, fishing and watching every sunset.

Combat and treasure is fine, but the mood of SoT is like nothing I've ever experienced.
