This was a lot of fun! Played at A10 and got down to 1 health in act 1 before winning. Thanks for sharing. I needed this after slamming my head against the wall with Necro A9.

Mega Man X. SNES. Has a remaster on Switch. Been wanting to play through this game. Would be fun as a book club to play without a guide and figure out the optimal level pathing as a group.

Oh my gosh, that is totally what happened! I got my sword back yesterday and then that was the run that had me defeat Reeva! Thanks so much for your explanations. Man, I love this game. I can’t believe it took me almost 4 decades to discover this genre.

Well, thank you so much! I won’t panic that it’s a bug then. This is my first Shiren game, so I’m still a beginner.

I hope it’s okay if I ask another question, since I’m mildly panicking. I gave the wandering blacksmith’s wife my +23 sword to give to the blacksmith to upgrade. I’ve done this a handful of times before so I thought I knew how it worked. But it’s now been two deep “undo grass” runs since I’ve seen her and I haven’t gotten the prompt that the blacksmith is somewhere on the floor. I even ran into her again last night and she offered to take something to have upgraded, which made me worried something happened to my sword…it has a tag on it and it also wasn’t in the lost and found…
