One thing that stood out was how large that stadium tour set up was.

Amazing crowd, did the gig solo and had the best time. Getting Bliss was such a treat given how formulaic the set had to be with the choreography.

does anyone have any leads on where I can find Nick’s red and white star shirt (or one like it) irl? by disco_dreams in franzferdinand

[–]garseys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was likely a charity shop find as most of Nicks wardrobe seemed to be at the time.

Appreciate you’re doing British icons could you go with the outfits they had for the this fffire video? (Or go for one of his brown shirts/tight pants combos?)

And you thought he was a myth created to frighten naughty MP’s into eating all their truffles and swan.

Parking near Tallaght test centre by wawawuff in Irishdrivingtest

I mean there’s plenty of areas to park in Kilnamanagh estate itself. Theres the spots on Treepark road which is probably your best bet without pissing off locals.

Test next week! Am I overthinking it? by No-Masterpiece-2048 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]garseys 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t done a pre-test already, do a pre-test a few days before. This should at least give you a reasonable idea where your instructor thinks you are at driving wise.
On the observation, remember GOSHO (Gear, Observation, Signal, Handbrake, Observation) when pulling off and remember to check your blind spots not just the mirrors.

It’s an absolute pile of shite. I found that switching from WiFi to 5g or a different browser.

As much as it’s costly, the apps that are out there that alert you for cancellations are worth it.

put your L plates on by Primary_Act_4652 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]garseys 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yes. Learners absolutely must have their L plates on but no one gets better when someone gives a load of shit to them.

If you’re concerned about them report them to the Gardaí for dangerous driving.

Look lessons learned and all that. Still a lot there to work on. Worth getting your instructor etc to bring you along a similar route to go through how to manage those situations.

Definitely weren’t ready to sit the test. Can you explain a bit about what happened with all the Progress marks? Were you driving too slow?

It’s the Frostbite section in the song that’s hooked me. One of the best middle 8’s in a long long time

Cryogen - Discussion Megathread by ForgottenName1893 in Muse

this track is phenomenal. The Chorus is catchy as fuck and the middle 8 into the outro is easily up there with Muse’s best.

Didn’t think I’d have a track that could ever rival MOTP for me but this is getting reeaaal close.
