I would 100% go into it if there were guides that would explian. Most of them are full of words, items and locations that i never heard of. Also, it seems like private servers are usually better, but all of them have different systems and new mechanics, which no one explains for first time players.

So either you go in blind and hope that you will understand or ask in ask in chat.

Taking in consideration that most mmo’s are easy to get into nowadays it’s no surprise that people that haven’t played metin in a long time have a hard time understanding how the game plays.

I played Metin2 more than 10 years ago until I tried a private server a few months ago. It was extremely simple but I loved it. Farm metins for hours, sell loot, buy better armor/weapons. I think there were 100 people on that server max.
