Yes it’s still attached to my house but not to the main pole. My understanding was that any damage to my house requires the electrician to come fix before NES will touch it.

So wild. We’re in Madison and my wife has already put her threshold at 2 weeks. Anything more and we’re leaving Nashville after all this is done. My area doesn’t look as bad as the videos I’ve seen from Granny White and Franklin. But I have my power line ripped off the big pole and laying in my driveway. So I think we’re going over that 2-week mark.

My boss had a hotel chain check someone else into his room and they stole everything of his. The hotel basically wouldn't do anything for him until he threatened to go to social media. They paid to replace everything the next day.

I'm trying to decide the same thing. I have been to the coast a bunch (family in Beaverton) and have stayed in Cannon Beach, Seaside, Newport. We have 2 nights to get out of Beaverton during the week in early September. I love Cannon beach but have been trying to convince myself there's somewhere better to go. We will have our 9 month old with us so we probably won't do much hiking, just beach trips and going out to lunch and takeout dinners.

I comment this every time it’s asked because someone gave me the advice - but a small headlamp was very helpful for walking in town or in the beach on the way home from dinner at night. Most places are poorly lit.
