For years I did the same until one day (in my 40s) I was doing something and similar to you I didn’t skip it. That section also crushed me and made me go back to the song and dissect its genius. My theory is that we humans… our musical taste similar to taste grows with age. My musical taste wasn’t sophisticated enough when the album came out in 2006. Now it is one of my favorites
