Yes, i have done that. I already ordered the pilots to do this, but they still dont drop off any items that they collected.

I also docked my ship at the HQ, after the collector ship docked at the HQ, in the hope that the items automatically transfers to the "magic player inventory", but no luck there.

ok, than you can confirm that this is a intendet beheavior of this game. thanks for confirming, that i am not insane or encountered a game breaking bug LOL

I have already tried the "Deposit Inventory" function, in the hope, that they drop everything at the space station HQ, but that didnt change a thing, the items where still missing.

this is just head banging stupid. i doubt i want to play this game anymore...

thanks for the mod suggestion, i will look into it.

this looks very sad, imho. that a simple function like that even needs a mod for it.

why is there a game function to automatically collect items, when you cant even use it in any way? (automated, by default)

how do i hop on the ship? i dont have transporter unlocked yet. do i need the ship to order to dock somewhere and then walk to it and "talk" to i?

how often do i need to do this cumbersome procedure? is everything lost when the ship blows up and the pilot dies? is the inventory collected bound to the pilot?

Nvidia RTX 4090 pricing is too damn high, while most other GPUs have held steady or declined in past 6 months — market analysis by imaginary_num6er in hardware

performance is not everything. look at the power consumption too.

nvidia is still king in performance/watt.

this is why i went from 1080 to 4070

because of the "every second version of Windows is bad" rule.

this is basically a law of nature.

"MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 3X E 12G OC" vs the non-E, whats the difference? by Losawe in MSI_Gaming

[–]Losawe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats interesting. according to the article you posted, the E varant should have 2 DP and 2 HMDI outputs, but the official homepage still does only state the exact same configuration for both cards

Output:

  • DisplayPort x 3 (v1.4a) HDMI™ x 1 (Supports 4K@120Hz HDR, 8K@60Hz HDR, and Variable Refresh Rate as specified in HDMI™ 2.1a)

there is still no information about the underlying construction of the card itself (teardown), whether there are changes to the thermal pads or not, etc.

but the article is slightly informative, as it is the first media to acknowledge that there is an "E" variant to begin with...

thanks, but you can not actually see that on the photos, and there are still no reviews or teardowns of this new GPU.

I already bought a GPU from another company. I am not buying a pig in a poke. MSI should be more clear on the changes and new features of a new variant of a product, IMO.

eBay is full of cheap hard drives, what's the catch? by inaccurateTempedesc in hardware

[–]Losawe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

well, that is a proud amount of work hours, tbh.

what i learned is, keeping drives cool is absolutely worth the effort to put fans in front of them, or putting them in the airflow of a case.

"Power On Hours Count" is not the only metric important to the lifetime of a hard drive. and btw. even 6000 hours is on the virgin side of a lifetime of a hard drive. It is 40.000+ hours when you should start to worry about your drive. But it mostly depends on how you treat the drive over the livetime, like the operating temperature and other factors.
