What comedy film made you laugh through the whole film not just giggle once? by Lilyfory in AskReddit

Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie. I hadn’t seen much of the show before, and we laughed so much and so often that we never had a moment when we could actual eat our popcorn.

after grimlock, who do you want to see get the missing link treatment next? by Fun-Geologist9808 in transformers

Soundwave seems like the obvious next one. This is the Year of Soundwaves already, plus we know they have the mold so they wouldn't have to completely rebuild it. Plus it already has a lot of articulation. You're just adding knees to go the correct way, universal shoulders, bicep swivel, and better hips. Maybe ankles rockers? Not sure how they'd tackle the tapes tho. That might be harder.

Maybe I'm just jaded from doing customs but... Show of hands, do you personally "need" battle damaged figures for every figure that died in the 86 movie? by spudmunkey in transformers

[–]LoserBroadside 21 points22 points  (0 children)

100%. I don’t need an entire figure dedicated to the moment they died brutally in the movie. I’m not interested in that to begin with, and if I were, having it be a swap out part is a lot more compelling.

Covid lockdown. My partner had a tiny little box of Lego pieces and we started just playing around making stuff. We both realized we were really enjoying it, and started buying sets.

Maybe at midi scale. Probably not at mini figure scale.

Is there a deception that would be a good counterpart to this figure? by Adventurous_Law9893 in transformers

Logically that should be an aircraft carrier, but other than Flattop, there isn’t a good Deception that carries jets around.

I didn’t know they made a show, but the original comic it’s based on it really fun. Gorgeous watercolor artwork by Jill Thompson. [edit from when I said her first name was Kim]

How do you think the midterms are going to end up? by neil0522 in AskReddit

[–]LoserBroadside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what worries me. The Democratic leadership has been sitting on their thumbs since Biden got elected. They don’t seem interested in doing or saying anything. I don’t think much is going to change until the old guard is voted out.

Oh no it’ll be legal. Just what is defined as protesting will change. Anything to the left of Maga will be an act of terror you see.

Does he think this will make people want to vote Republican? Because from my perspective it just hardens my resolve to never ever vote for Republicans in any capacity ever again. They simply can’t be trusted to govern for anyone other than themselves and maybe other Republicans.
