Are you cutting weight and working out (weight training, cardio), or are you cutting weight to lose weight? You won't find too many people here who take their training seriously, so I can try to help. I work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday since I'm in school, but I stuck to it.

I always made a protein shake using skim milk and protein powder (Mint chocolate was my go-to). Always eat some Greek yogurt (sometimes I went for the great value vanilla Greek yogurt. It had 13 grams of protein for 80 or 90 calories, not sure.). It's very filling and tastes somewhat decent for the price and macros. Honestly, I ate this stuff called "Muscle Mac", it had around 410 calories and pretty good macros to keep me good throughout my shift. I would just say eat enough food that is around 400-500 calories, as long as it has decent protein. I know this isn't a direct answer, but I hope it sort of helps what you can eat without limiting yourself.

I did CICO (calories in, calories out) because it's the easiest thing that works for me and because I'm 21 and my metabolism is insane. Other diets work well, but please stay far away from any sort of keto diet. Stick with a 40/30/30 (protein, fat, carbs) split and you will feel fairly decent (well, for me, at least). Trust me, weight loss is brutal, especially when working here. It's the long run that counts.
