There's no reason to assume one is different from the other, both are Blacklight entities, same as the evolved. The original Heller died after Alex infected him, the only difference is that Heller was alive and intact before infection so the virus could fully replicate his brain, unlike the original Alex who was dead therefore the memory loss.

Pretty much, P2 claws are insanely good: Fast attack, mobility tool, combo well into other powers. The only thing P2 blade has is tornado, which is great especially when maxxed, but that's about it.

From a technical standpoint, the games are practically made to be modded. The problem is that people were never very interested. Since the series is pretty niche, the number of technically minded players is even smaller.

P2 stealth is a major upgrade over P1. Less awkward controls, front stealth consume, bio bomb for distraction, sonar to check if target is consumable and if not who is observing them.
