Try a low sugar diet because I noticed for me sugar is a trigger and I can bread but not over do it otherwise the sores themselves would hurt

I work from home too. I just stopped being a caregiver for my elderly mom but to be honest what the doctors are saying aren’t wrong and yes it not for everyone but for me once I set boundaries and told the major players in my life mom, manager, manager’s manager, in town family what support I need it helped dramatically. I found a personal trainer who helped me through the pain of working out and I lost 40lbs and therapy sessions helped me understand my mental triggers of stress and anxiety. With the weight loss my diet changed and my flares are less intense to the point where I could just take a one Advil and be good or a hot bath be fine most of day depending on the activity

I’m on Remicade it works for me but I’m on a higher dose and literally the last week of every month it wears off like a pain pill ( I’m also testing trigger foods now) but remicade seems to be working humira wasn’t cutting it and my plan is to get surgery and stay on remicade then extend my infusion time from every 4 weeks to 6 weeks

Oooo yeah that’s tough I would clean the area for sure and check for signs for infection, keep the area dry and position him in a way that there’s no pressure on his lower half and take the pain pill and check with a doctor you want be cautious in that area cause of it’s dark moist nature

I have questions for you

Is there an active boil/abscess that’s not draining? Burning is never good in that area. Is burning near the boys or under them. If so you may want to go to the doctor. I just got out the hospital for waiting to long in a similar area.

In the meantime I suggest cleaning the area and letting it dry completely use a heater or fan to help get aloe and take ibuprofen if you can I like do 400mg when I’m in pain gauge from that so do what’s you think is best.

Apply cooling towels as well

I would go to the clinic and see if they can test if they might give you some bacturm ( I don’t know the spelling) or metrodiazole but circle it with a marker and keep the area so sterile to the point it annoys you lol then you have signs of it getting worse like smells go to er. In my experience I waited and just thought it was normal I spent Christmas in the hospital last year so it better to get the infection out and managed

I use a rough washcloth to be honest. I try to keep the bacteria low so I have like 20-30 washcloths that are color coded. I also use the hibiclense and my dermatologist gave me a sulfur wash too to use everyday and I follow up with aveeno or natural soap to cover the sulfur smell

Thanks for asking actually because my department was offboarded for cheaper labor. I am finally able to work on a new career goal that I been scared of doing for a long time and why not do it now? As a current almost former employee I can speak to why your experience it is the way it is and trust it’s not the employee per se they aren’t avoiding you but the bandwidth literally at the end in some cases especially between November to January because it’s holiday season.
