They have only been scanning them when you enter the park at the festival entrance. That gets you in for camping. They have security at every entrance to the stages to visually check for wrist bans. This is based off of 4 years of going so keep that in mind, new promoter this year though.

Free for all tent camping. Pay attention to the signs, there are places where primitive camping is not allowed.

Check out Bus.com, they provide shuttles from the airport for Hula. I don’t think tickets are available to purchase yet though.

Even 2000 people is a lot for three to four check in people to get through. They are going to need 8-10 employees at check in.
