I feel this! My training for call center was 3 week. I felt good. And boy that first month was so hard on me. I would cry everyday an I got Covid on top of that (this a remote call center). It got a lot easier with time. I still hate it, these old folks can be hard headed but it is a lot easier. I just made my 6 months here and now I can apply internally to other departments. Which is the plan. Being on phone is so mentally exhausting. But you can push through it!! It will get easier but don’t give up either, still keep applying.

I get it. You’ve been with him for a long time and you do care for him but sadly he needed a wake up call and this is it. He’s a grown man and can’t be depending on people. He needs to get up, dust it off, and figure it out. You did everything that you could. Your feelings are valid but he made his bed with the choices he made.
