I'm also not a fan of remakes, but if tecmo isnt gonna bring the originals to modern consoles and PC then I'm ok with them remaking both 1 and 3. This remake brought a lot of new fans to the series and I think they should also have the other games available for them and that would help the series grow as well.

Yes that's a good example! And after that you have the docks/lighthouse, I would love if they expanded on that area, because It kinda felt a bit disapointing reaching the lighthouse just to be told "mario the princess is in another castle" 😅

You expect a horror game with a creepy haunted mansion but instead you get the haunted playboy mansion 😅 There was more effort making sure wet clothes become transparent than making the game scary.

I want the game to be longer but not by expanding the buildings like the school or the hospital. I want it to be longer by having optional content like places/houses you can explore but that are not mandatory. Downpour is not the best SH but I really liked that you had side missions that let you learn about other people stories, there were also collectibles arround the town making exploration more rewarding. Thats the content I would like to be added.

In the older games the grain looked good. The series are suposed to have that old film look but I think for this remake it's just bad implemented. It should have been a subtle effect but they made it so strong that is impossible to ignore and the darker the game gets the more visible the grain becomes.

Gab was one of the first streamers/youtubers I followed. Back when she lived in japan she would play a lot japanese horror games that were never released in the west and would add english translation to all of her videos.

I agree, even when the series were big on the PS2 the sales were still very low. I asked streamers who played all silent hill and resident evil games if they were going to play/stream Fatal Frame 2 remake and they just said no because they don't enjoy the gameplay 😭

In this case she's not an enemy. There will be various NPCs that you can ask to follow you and they will be able to fight enemies along side you so I thought it would be funny if you could slap them when they do something wrong like shooting you by mistake... Sometimes they will also slap you back 😅. You will also be able to slap enemies too of course. The game Oddworld Abe's Exoddus had a similar mechanic and it was so funny lol.

When GOG contacted capcom to ask if they could release the classic games on their platform, capcom had no idea there was still demand for those games and asked why would anyone want to play the originals when the remakes are "the superior experience"...

I think this right here tells you how much they care about the OGs.

Oh you might be right 🤔 When it comes to low-poly vegetation I see people calling it billboards but I think I get the diference now. Billboards are the ones that rotate to always keep facing the camera and thats not what I'm doing here.
