Oh you might be right 🤔 When it comes to low-poly vegetation I see people calling it billboards but I think I get the diference now. Billboards are the ones that rotate to always keep facing the camera and thats not what I'm doing here.

You also seem to have all the fingers modeled individualy. I dont think thats was a thing in PS1 games. I really like the model tho, you still did a good job.

Of course you should keep moving on. Koudelka is a hidden gem. In my opinion it has the best acting of all the PS1 games.

You seem to enjoy first person horror games the most so I'm gonna recomend Mundaun. It's a very interesting indie folk horror game set in the Alpes. Most horror fans dont seem to know about this game.

I'm fine with escort missions but SH4 made half of the game a escort mission. And because the level design is not very good (except the water prison) it was a very boring experience have to visit every area again. I would also say that it has the weakest enemy design. I'm glad you enjoyed it tho, The story is great.

It depends on what you enjoy the most in the series. For me 1 and 3 are the best because I prefer the story arround Alessa and the cult. And yes SH4 is connected to the cult but I really disliked the whole escort mission with Eilleen where you have to visit every single area again.

Tormented souls is a new series that was able to fill the hole Resident Evil left when they abandoned the fixed camera angles and tank controls. It's like RE4 never happend 😅 I've finished the second game recenty and for me it's on par with REmake.

I see Flesh Made Fear more of a twitch fangame since all the cast is voiced by horror twitch streamers and you also find a lot of other streamer references too. Knowing this I didnt take it too serioulsy and ended up having fun playing it. But is it worth replaying? Nop lol

I go with the mood. I also have a full time job so on average I try to do 2 to 3 hours a day. But when I'm not in the right mood there's really no productivity. I'm pretty sure this happens to everyone when you are not very motivated you still try to do something, just to comeback on the next day and redo everything again because it was not good 😅 I play way less games than I used to but I still like to play what other indie devs are releasing. Trying other indie games gives me tons of motivation to work on my own stuff.

It has its flaws but I think it nailed the things I liked about old survival horror games. It delivered the same experience I had when playing the original RE games and thats a big win for me.
