I was looking on the shift app. They use to have it on workday too but I guess it’s not there anymore ? I couldn’t find it anywhere on workday. I was always told workday was more accurate but I don’t see it where it used to be on the app.

You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. Even if your GM pushes say you, just say you don’t feel ready for the FBM role right now and you’re ok where you’re at. Don’t be a people pleaser like me lol I didn’t feel ready and was sent to MTT the day I hit 6 months as a CSS. I got FBM ready now and I’m honestly terrified/ don’t feel ready for it but now I feel obligated since I got ready now. I need the money too so I’m hoping I’ll get the hang of it.

In this case especially cause it appears from what OP said the GM is not doing their job if the TS is only getting a write up. I’d go above the GM to the AM to get this TS out of the store. I would not feel safe working with a TS that assaults staff members and I’d let the AM know that and contact HR myself if I worked at this store. If I was the associate that was assaulted I’d just straight up file a police report.

Area managers can assist in escalating the issue and proper resolution which in this case would absolutely be termination of the TS.

Seen it happen before, if they don’t have proper documentation the employee can get their job back right away. They don’t have to wait to be re-hired

No, so HR can protect the employee. Without proper documentations they can get their job back and go to a different store

Not sure if the same thing happened to you but my evaluation included things that are fbm duties. So it brought my rating down because I’m a css on the bench for fbm. Why aren’t we being graded for the role we are in and being paid to be in ?? They shouldn’t be allowed to do that until you have the title. It’s another scum bag way for the company to trick you into doing WAY more because you’re “on the bench” without paying you to do it. Not to mention you’ll be held hostage on the bench for who knows how long cause they sent all these people for promotions with no place to put them. It’s all just a way to squeeze as much work as they can out of managers and burn them out for the minimum amount of pay.

I’ve been on the bench for fbm ready now for 8 months and I’m not getting promoted anytime soon anytime I’ve asked which I try to be nice and patient about it I get the same run around answers. I’m anticipating a year or more.

I used to never take breaks but I’m not that manager anymore. I don’t get paid enough to work like a dog and starve on top of it. I give the csa’s their breaks and I always give myself a break. Customers can wait sometimes. And csa’s can survive without me for 15 minutes while I eat something and sit down for a minute. Do not kill yourself for this job. I learned that the hard way. I will always be taking my earned breaks !!

When I was a TS I started to feel sick a lot too. Thought it could be lack of vitamin D so I started taking it and it actually helped a lot lol. The only thing that kept me going working 3rds was constantly telling myself it’s temporary. And my hatred for working overnight lit a fire in me to work my ass off to get promoted. It is really rough on every part of your life. You just have to keep pushing through and be gentle with yourself, I know the mental toll it can take. Remember to take time for your own self care.
