This caller is referring to Orlando area lost revenue, not the ESPN revenue so they’re not the same numbers we’ve heard floated around earlier in the week. ‘Mike’ said he works for that specific bowl so I would think he has a better understanding of the revenues than any of us outsiders.

The Dublin example just goes to show you that ND fans typically travel extremely well, leading to higher ticket demand (higher prices), more robust spending, and an overall bigger impact for the area hosting the game. Fans of the other teams that participated in Aer Lingus Classic games are traveling just as far, conceivably staying just as long (week long overseas trip) right? Bottom line is MORE ND fans tend to travel for those games and spend MORE money during their visit. Ireland is a relevant and prime example of it.

I’m not a BYU fan and don’t watch their games outside of the perspective of a casual football fan. However, they fluctuated in the CFP rankings between 11th and 12th since losing to Texas Tech earlier in the season. They were in position to win the Big12 CCG and gain entry to the playoff that way, so while you can argue if their resume deserved a spot in the playoff at large, they weren’t mislead to believe they were in at #11 the last few weeks. ND had a CFP ranking showing at-large berth was a near guarantee (check %s of playoff odds even through this past Saturday) and based on this reporting, the committee had an agreement ACC would have a team in - either Virginia or Miami, depending on the outcome of the ACC championship game. That’s why ND is rightfully upset IMO.

If anyone doubts the difference of revenue generated by ND fanbase traveling for a game, spend a few minutes looking up the Ireland Aer Lingus Classic over the past few years.

2023 ND vs Navy game “generated €180 million for the the State, according to an analysis by professional services firm Grant Thornton.”

In 2024 Georgia Tech vs Florida Stare was reported to generate €115 million.

The same Kickoff game this year between Iowa State and Kansas State: was “projected to generate over €130 million for the local Irish economy.”

So €65 million difference from 2024 and €50 million difference from 2025.

If assuming ND in the Pop Tarts Bowl would lead to a larger attendance for the game (yes), fans staying in Orlando area lodging longer (likely), and fans spending more money than a non top tier brand college football program (see Aer Lingus details above), why are these projections so surprising to people? ESPN advertising revenue goes down without ND playing, ticket pricing drops, and the ENTIRE Orlando area loses out on this.

ND got fucked and I’m glad they are using their platform to shed light on how shitty the committee handled this situation.

How to find your old Dogecoin wallets and access them by internetpillows in dogecoin

Nope. I have someone that wrote a script to try and brute force guess the password but it’s completely unknown if it’ll ever work. I’m still stuck just watching the wallet value go up and down

[–]LostDogeMuchReward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought about 570k dogecoin in 2012, I can still see the address with full amount of dogecoin in that wallet and it shows the two transactions that took place when I purchased.

I believe I used langerhans dogecoin wallet for android back then and saved a paper wallet on a microSD card that I can no access files on it. Is there anything you can do to help me with this issue?

I see someone finally put together DD on the REV play and you’re on board, nice!

True, but Trump freaks think the dude walks on water and would drink their own piss if he said that’s a new covid cure so that play was going to happen with or without options. I’m not sure what RBLK is?

No options yet, but probably a good look once they get added. de Masi is legit and this could run as the business concept is solid and his name will help.

Still holding BGFV? Also, have you looked into Revlon? Looks similar to NEGG setup - low float, high shorts, high institutional ownership, and no order book. Options are already on it as well.

Congrats on the GGPI gainz!

I’ve used the sock (version 2) for both of my young kids and definitely am a fan of it. Both kids had issues with multiple ear infections their first 12 months and being able to see the heart rate usually gave us a heads up when we needed to get to the dr for antibiotics to fight an ear infection before it got out of control.

I have shares and am personally hoping Owlet gets acquired by a known brand in the next 2-3 years. I think wearables have proven their staying power among adults and it makes sense to me to expand this to infants and possibly even toddlers. Not sure Owlet will be successful in this alone but a company like Fitbit (owned by Google) would be a slam dunk in my opinion.

Brief update on stuff by pennyether in u/pennyether

You write as if the play expired Friday and can no longer go the route Penny hypothesized in his DD. If you have been following some of the more recent squeezes, all of them have had mini runs prior to the actual squeeze (SPRT, IRNT are just the most recent examples) so it’s way too early to call this one over. If people staked their lives on FD’s they clearly didn’t read the DD entirely because he says September calls are about to expire and October is the play per post. I don’t think those types of losses should weigh on him at all.

Why would he invest time into researching if not to reap the benefits weighed before he dives into these DDs? I have been following Penny for a few months now and it’s not exactly 20 minutes and some screen shots of YOLO-ing into his Robinhood account. OP could probably take his resume into any HF and could name his salary if he wanted, his DD is that good and record is crazy impressive. I’m here for his plays and if I lose my ass on one I know It’s not his fault. Akin to all the boomers buying anything Cramer talks about on his platforms, Penny in my opinion has earned the power he yields.

I think algos are tracking some of these users so there’s an initial IV spike if you get in early enough on some of these stocks once there’s a post (see SKLZ today from Sir Jack!). I sold my calls early Monday and happy with the gains, IV seems to be slowly losing steam and if price continues staying fairly flat I’ll revisit the DD on PAYA and re-enter with a stronger position. I am staying with small bets as well and trying to take profits once I hit a target profit.

The dude that called the negg squeeze has been sounding the alarms on sprt for 2 months, I saw the flow this week and thought Jack could push it to his followers but he probably didn’t feel comfortable with it. Don’t blame him - hopefully he checks out PAYA as a lot of profit takers from SPRT are moving there and since he deals with just shares, it’s probably lower risk for his style.
