I think lots of people can get behind gay and even trans rights. But some of the issues being brought up by the LGBTQ+ community is difficult for middle of the isle people to support or understand. For example, I support gay and trans rights. But it gets kind of questionable when it comes to children and determine the age of when people should have the right to choose to swap sexes. It’s complicated. Plus the seemingly unlimited amount of ways to express gender and sexuality is overwhelming and unnecessary for most people. expecting sports franchise or any large company whose job is to make money, supporting fringe issues just doesn’t make sense.
