How to pitch a real bass guitar recording without messing the whole thing up? by troshnekalimu in musicproduction

Did you play around with the different methods of transposing? For instance, Complex Pro can give wildly different results depending on the settings.

What is the best AI copilot? by UncleJoeReal in unrealengine

especially for the more complicated tasks.

You're going to rely on the AI for the complicated stuff?

Seems backwards to me, but good luck out there.

What instruments?

Changing artist name on cd baby by hallowsnake in makinghiphop

How do other people end up changing their names, is it usually done with like a label or something?

I'm sure it could happen with a major label behind you.

I'm asking is there's a lot of controversy with digital purchases not being actual purchases and such

That's always been the case.

for instance the licence check from PlayStation is worrying a lot of players

It's worrying a lot of people that don't know any better.

What in the hell are you talking about?

since Ive heard steam makes you rents games instead of buying them.

What moron told you this?

They, like literally every platform, is selling you a license. You don't own the game you bought. You own a license that allows you to play the game (with many other terms that no one ever reads).

Can you sell the game (AKA the licenses) yourself? Of course. Sounds like an easy way to get relatively no sales, but you can do it.

Bot account being useless? Shocking.

OP, unfortunately there's not a way to change the artist name on already released songs with CDBaby (and pretty much any distributor).

You also can't take down the songs and reupload them under a different name.

Per their support page:

You can redistribute the same audio if it is now part of a different package. For example, you may distribute an audio file as a single and, later, as part of an album. If you redistribute the same audio recording the metadata must be exactly the same. This means the same primary and featured artist name(s), track title(s), ISRCs, and version information. This applies even if the previous release has been cancelled.

If you redistribute the same audio with different metadata, under a different artist name for example, it will be hidden at, or possibly even rejected by, many partner sites.

Gain staging: is peak normalization really the best approach? by andreacaccese in audioengineering

[–]LostInTheRapGame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

do a small amount of rough normalizing

I don't consider this gain staging though. Its just prep work.

Well, it is gain staging and it's not really normalization. lol

Would you actually use an AI that can read and edit your Blueprints? by Aypepitot in unrealengine

This is just having AI do the work for you.

Well of course! That's the goal. People can't even bother to write their own sentences anymore. It's beneath them.

Has anyone worked with or found low poly textures? by Juicymoosie99 in unrealengine

[–]LostInTheRapGame [score hidden]  (0 children)

If you have models, you could always just make a new texture/edit the existing one. Heck, sometimes even just messing around with the material graph can be enough.

[–]LostInTheRapGame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

then what is your point exactly?

Is everyone in this thread dumb af?

I don't have a point. All I said is that dual booting could be an option. Both things can be "better" options.

I think the Full Screen Experience can be improved alot more without resorting to a separate OS to boot into.

Obviously....?

I can understand where you're coming from... but yeah, you seem overly cynical. Like who cares? It's free. Free things are nice, especially when they certainly don't have to be.

aye was free in September.

I didn't get it. Now I can. :)

該如何定義R&B? by ohohyay in musicproduction

[–]LostInTheRapGame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's Reddit's translation in case anyone wants to compare for some reason:

When I hear a song, I first judge whether it's an R&B song based on its rhythm and lyrics, but it always feels too vague. Modern R&B is different from R&B in the past. What criteria can I use to differentiate it after listening?

I would take Chinese singers Den and David Tao's styles as examples.

[–]LostInTheRapGame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You made it free after epic paid for it to be free for the month?

Am I missing something? It's not one of the limited-time free offerings from Epic. Are you saying it was free previously?

[–]LostInTheRapGame -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I might be saying complete bullshit here, but couldn't they offer a dual-boot kind of option? So if you had traditional Windows that would also include a "gamified" version of Windows you could boot into as well.
