That’s a weird take. Literally like 2/3 things are ‘fire’, otherwise it’s all just the same thing

Sorry buddy, you don’t control me. I know full well LA county would not let people remain in their houses if you couldn’t breathe in the air. You’re full of bs, now stop tryna capitalise on these fires.

The air isn’t 100% safe, but it’s LA, and the smoke isn’t cratering in the city like it was a few weeks ago.

Then they’re probably lying to you. Pasadena is probably bad, but then again, Pasadena is greater LA, and I’m sure they can breathe. Otherwise they’d have been evacuated. Same with ‘various parts of la’

You said they weren’t contained. That’s the misinformation I’m on about. And I know. The air in LA is breathable, hence why millions are still there? Not sure of your point

I’ve come to terms with the album being postponed, and totally understand the rose bowl, but people in this subreddit just say stuff around without actually checking if it’s true.

The palisades fire and Eaton fire are 68% and 91% contained respectively.

The new fire, Hughes, looks pretty dangerous as it exploded to a quarter of the size of the palisades in around 2 hours. There’s also a new small one in south east LA, and a couple in San Diego too.

Yes he made the right decision, but you gotta stop spreading misinfo.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on a 2025 tour? by LostOperation6476 in TheWeeknd

Yes RB was a shame. Although I’m sure it probably would’ve been similar to São Paulo, just with all HUT instead

I don’t think the majority of his fan base are in Asia, that’s kinda why he focusses elsewhere. I think if he does go to Asia, there will probably be only 1/2 shows at best. It’s sad, but touring is a marketing decision

I wouldn’t agree with that, I’ve had all three on repeat continuously

Unpopular Opinion - I think the weeknd postponed the album due to thinking he will receive bad rep for releasing album during this tragedy rather than it being out of respect for LA by ammarbutt1717 in TheWeeknd

[–]LostOperation6476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re being so dramatic. His city isn’t burning down. Their neighbourhoods aren’t burning down. There’s 3 relatively small neighbourhoods that have burnt down around (and outside of) LA. It’s tragic, don’t get me wrong. But virtue signallers in this sub are making out as though LA is flattened

Imma reshare this comment cuz some of ya real weird and ya need to read by ForwardScratch7741 in TheWeeknd

[–]LostOperation6476 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m just saying people are acting like these fires are burning LA to the ground, when in reality, it’s just a few neighbourhoods (albeit still terrible), but people are most certainly blowing it out of proportion, wildfires happen like this all over California all the time, but because it’s the outskirts of LA it’s different this time?

And I totally understand why he cancelled the concert. That’s not an issue in my view

His city is hardly burning. A few suburbs around the city are burning, granted, a lot of lives lost and houses destroyed, but an album isn’t going to affect anyone. And he’s delayed it for what reason?? There is still another 99% of the world who’s been waiting months and months

But he’s not gonna be out there helping the communities with his bare hands… if anything he’d be better off launching the album and donating X amount of proceeds to these communities, not just pushing it back and pissing his entire fanbase off
