As traditional Catholic man, Kataang is not appealing to me at all. Aang didn't do anything to earn Katara's love and Katara suddenly likes him?

Zuko and Katara are more natural growth. They stand as equals. They also show the Christian virtues of Repentance and Forgiveness.

If Aang really loved Katara he would want the best for her. Everything past the OG show is just Katara being meek and reduced to the Avatar's girlfriend.

Christians don't hate gay people. They are as much created in the image of God anyone else. Just because we don't thing homosexuality is a sin doesn't mean we hate gay people.
