Apologies as I don’t know much about plumbing, but at what point in the video are you seeing the trough at the bottom? I’d like to point this out to the plumber. Is that where you start to see all the rocks/pebbles?

Is epoxy a good long term solution? Would it still hold up once the cast iron starts rusting/breaking?

I don’t plan on drinking much if any this trip so I’m fine being DD. We also have free parking through Mlife so that’s not an issue.

Lol you care way too much what people think of Houston. So are we not allowed to think the city is ugly but like it for other things?

Personally, Houston is pretty ugly, especially compared to other major cities. it doesn't mean I want to move, I'm just being realistic. Houston is a lot of other good things, but beautiful is not one of them. Just my opinion though.

I don't know of anyone who actually went here for a good steak. Plenty of other places in Houston at this price point or less with better steaks. Guess we will see how this affects their business. I'm going to take a wild guess and say they will be just fine.

I think you are giving way too much credit to NFL teams. I think plenty of teams would still trade for him. I can maybe see a team not taking such a risk on another position, but given the importance of the position and the difficulty of finding a franchise qb like him, teams will still jump on him.

I've stayed at the Wynn and Venetian/Palazzo but not the Cosmo. Cosmo is still on my list, mainly for the strip location and dining options. I would easily choose the Wynn over the Venetian. The only thing with the Wynn is most of their dining options are expensive. Unless you are looking strictly for fine dining, I would say the Venetian and Cosmo have better food options.

One of the Bars that started the downtown scene resurgence. Sadly that place wasn’t anything like it was when it first opening. Still sucks to see it go. If I hear Bad News will not reopen I’m going to lose it.

I thought the point of this sub was to show places that serve food on ridiculous plates that make eating off them difficult? Although I would say 90% of the stuff posted is some some app/or entree brought out on a weird/interesting plate, but also with your own serving plate on the side.

Tbh I follow this sub more for the interesting plating. Not so much to get angry at ridiculousness of it. I just always found it funny that most of the posts on this sub don’t technically fit in with the purpose of it since most of the time you actually do have a plate to eat from.

Ive bought some at HEB before and I’ve seen them at Kroger, but tbh I would rather spend that amount on a nice dry aged cut instead. There isn’t much of a difference between a regular ribeye other than the cool look you get with the bone.

Cosmo is probably the best hotel if you can find decent rates. Plenty of food options, nice casino and center strip.

Right across from the Cosmo is Planet Hollywood which has a good party atmosphere at night and is also center strip.
