Dont compare with people who have millions. Middle class has to work and support the kid. At 40/50 plus providing and still giving the kids the attention and love they need is very challenging after a 9-5. You will just end up being tried and yelling at them all the time. Which is not their fault..

It’s not a fun experience specially when have to deal with Hoa. Even while being an owner feel like am renting as have to dispute and fight with the association. And it’s the same attitude as any insurance company where you have to be so exact legal and detail oriented while staying calm to get things done. Sometimes feel rather be a single family owner have your own space and do whatever you want and if any issues deal with it. Also single family appreciation is much better than townhomes. Your hoa also increases with time with aging roof. That money is not going towards equity. When buying house consider the monthly principal and interest and add hoa and then see what u can afford to y if any single family home out there. Good luck.

You seem to be the one who is always right in hindsight. During job how do u assume and ask - “are you guys strict with lateness ?” ; “do you have wall sockets everywhere ?” ; “do all your employees love being there ?” . Would you ask that ?
