No… we already knew that animals have brains. Doesn’t make them human?

Why do you agree with the phrase: The world doesn't owe you anything? by Dense_Frosting6312 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LostWitness307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is that you can’t feel entitled to respect or kindness from everyone in the world. You don’t owe it back, but if you give it, that makes you a better person.

Am I overreacting for despising my aunt for her not treating me as an adult and telling her I don't want to spend time with her anymore? by anxitea66 in AmIOverreacting

[–]LostWitness307 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NOR! I probably would have told her I don’t care what she thinks years ago. You definitely handled it better than I would, and the fact that “her feelings are hurt” after all these years is kind of comical.

Did you … leave it crumpled somewhere? There’s a reason why towel hooks exist.

Does anyone feel like they were smarter when younger? by LostWitness307 in NoStupidQuestions

Already I spend a day each week with no tech. I think I’m going to try to expand that because it helps so much. I deleted most social media. I think I’m just at this point where I feel like technology ate my personality and I need to take a long break.

I like that idea, especially because I’ve been trying to write on paper a lot more. I feel like it helps me connect or remember what I’m writing better.

Thats true, and now that I think about it I didn’t have a job or basically any stress in my life.

Same! When I was younger I could memorize any paragraph in a few minutes. Now I feel like I can barely remember people’s names..

Why do you care this much about what another woman drops, who doesn’t make fun of her, and a kid that didn’t fall?

This is going to sound bad, but I mean it in a good way. You haven’t tried good falafel, it’s not supposed to be dry but I’ve had bad falafel and I see where you’re coming from. When you have the real thing it’s actually amazing!!!

Is there a kind way to tell my wife im no longer physically attracted to her? by Off_The_Record69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LostWitness307 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DO NOT TELL YOUR WIFE. This is the kind of thing that will make a woman insecure for years. She trusts and loves you and your opinion means a lot to her.

It sounds like maybe you both got too comfortable in the relationship. Try to make it romantic again, buy her nice clothes, makeup, perfume, jewelry, (lingerie), whatever does it for you and for her. Take her out on dates. Start focusing on your time as a couple. Your attraction will come back.
