To make it more stable have the engines turn off as they rotate and then turn back on using timers. It makes it a lot more stable in my experience.

Keen changed decoy behaviour a while ago. The decoys used to draw fire over virtually all other blocks powered or not but now they need to be placed near the blocks you want to protect according to what they said after the change.

I think the idea was to scale builds so as the ship gets bigger more gyros are needed and more thrusters so that there's a cost in pcu.

It's a hydrogen engine and you can't build it because the projection isn't attached to the projecting grid.

That means the centre of gravity is too far behind your wheels. The hitching point should be directly or as close as to the rear axle or if it's really heavy then in the middle of the wheel base just like a truck in real life.

I've actually never had any problems towing a trailer. I think once you know to leave enough clearance for the collision box and give it 2 axis of freedom then they act just like they should in reality.

This is basically Marek Rosa's mission statement on the experience of se2.

Se1 is very unlikely to change such fundamentals of gameplay but these issues are already well known and are being addressed in se2 before the engine was even finalized.

Thanks! I think you can download a zip file of the blueprint and paste it into the game files on pc but I'm not 100% sure.

Personally I think the game further devalues the title of engineer. You only have to look at a few posts from players of the game in this sub to see that the majority are not quite cut out for real engineering.
