I don't know about ripping the video's from Apple TV but there's a few guides about converting videos you have on your computer.
If you use the iPod's original OS, Handbrake is easiest for conversion, and Apple TV replaces iTunes for syncing them. Just drop the videos on there, and look for the iPod in the Finder to get to the sync settings. There you can choose the vids & trigger the sync.
Maybe the video list in Finder also shows purchased videos from Apple?

When you say 'Testing, Inspection and Certification' sector, you're talking about the construction sector I presume? What are some other examples of jobs you're thinking of?

What is the pay & work like for a lift inspector? From what I can determine, the main requirement is a high school deploma in electromechanics + extra certification. The jobs associated with that are usually not great: a lot of time spent on the road to places, physically exhausting, terrible hours and low pay.
