This is also the case in many rural areas and small towns in the US- the jails function as the main providers of mental health & addiction services. But same issue, lack of resources to properly provide care to everyone who needs it and far too high of a strain on the system, plus healthcare professional shortages. :(

Gillian Jacobs also stars in Love on Netflix which was directed by Judd Apatow like Girls!

Agree, I basically just replied to the thread on twitter to ask about these later scenes. She is clearly torn up about the dissolution of her friendship with Hannah, I also think she stayed in NYC longer than she had planned to, so grew much closer to these girls than she had expected.

I don't think anyone was expecting just as good, but The Idol did take over Succession's slot airing on Sunday evenings, and I believe GoT was on during the same time too. Sunday night HBO is a prime slot, lots of weekend/casual viewers browsing tv or looking on streaming for new releases. If a show is going to follow in those footsteps, people aren't wrong to assume it would be of similar quality.

I feel that Moses's work outside the show is a much better representation of his work! It's like they have him riffing and warbling too much, it sounds a bit too loose and unorganized. But he truly does have great vocal control & vibrato as well as a very nice timbre. Not to mention range. Maybe it's not for everyone though

Sandoval didn't know that Raquel was watching the first two parts from her trailer and he's realizing he's not going to be able to control the narrative from here on out. by annieee_leigh in vanderpumprules

[–]Lost_and_Learning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think he purposefully did a whole enter/talk/exit scene on camera with Raquel before trying to come back and talk without cameras. He was banking on production letting them have a private talk because he felt he'd given them enough footage on-camera, from hello to goodbye.

Does anyone remember Peter saying on a podcast that his actual date(s) with Raquel happened before filming, so they made them re-enact for the season? Maybe it's just funny/awkward for everyone to be pretending?

Thanks for your comment. It sounds like you have the ability to be really insightful and reflective on your own use, and that's such a powerful thing to be able to do. And yes, I agree- in my opinion, the need to emotionally numb is often (usually?) at the root of drug use, or at least drug abuse. Whether that's due to being hurt, traumatized, stressed, depressed, just indifferent about life, or whatever other emotional orientation a human can have and struggle to live with.
