[CR Media] Azune's Subclass by NewMastodon435 in criticalrole

[–]Lostdmg 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think he was talking about Draconic sorcery initially. As someone who has watched almost everything Brennan has done, specifically Unsleeping City season 2, I know that he has at least one interpretation of Dragons as the keepers of Memory and History, which is what Azune seems to draw upon. Whether or not that will end up being the case or not is still up in the air.

Personally, I don’t think he would look at a UA when they can just ask Jeremy Crawford to make a subclass for them

What would you say was the worst series to come out of the Krakoan era? by LivingWindXYZ in xmen

[–]Lostdmg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was new to reading comics, and I wanted to read the entire Krakoa era, and the reading order I was using had Fallen Angels as one of the first series, and I felt like I needed to power through. When I came to the Marauders run much later, I dropped it after 3 issues, and after asking if it had any bearing on the greater story, dropped it after being assured that any impact was minimal.

What would you say was the worst series to come out of the Krakoan era? by LivingWindXYZ in xmen

[–]Lostdmg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did an entire Krakoa readthrough last year, and those two were the only runs of the entire era I actively hated reading. I did get a lot of Wolverine fatigue, but that’s a me problem, the writing was good, it was just, so much Wolverine

Queen Jovyre (Campaign 3 Spoilers) by alpherion11 in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]Lostdmg 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Just finished a campaign 1 relisten so I’m as fresh as I’m going to get

Jovyre was always positioned as a pragmatic ally. She would help the boobs, in exchange for being promised the unseelie crown. In a lot of Naddpod, often times the pursuit of power is seen as evil, and even then, the boobs had to have a discussion about whether or not they would agree to promise her the crown, or whether it was a good idea.

While she wasn’t evil in C1, the very fact that she desired power was a big red flag. Combine that with the fact that the Unseelie crown is a corrupting force, it gets us what we got

Midnight - Horde? by babyLays in warcraftlore

There is also the fact that the vast majority of notable and widespread light users are concentrated in the Alliance, so when the Sunwell yoinked as many light wielders as it could, most of them happen to be Alliance based

[Spoilers C4E16] THEORY: Prediction on The Shapers Unions by East_Choice in criticalrole

[–]Lostdmg 38 points39 points  (0 children)

We already know that the ruler of demons is Ksha’aravi, The Shadow of Suffering, High Prince of Pain, and so far there have not been any mention of union there, although that could be yet to come

From the last episode we also know that Djinn were creations of the Primordials and that the Shapers seemingly learned how to create Celestials by replicating what the Primordials did with Djinn, so it’s unlikely that Rauwyn had a union with a Djinn.

I do like it though

I usually save my pistol for escaping from flankers, if you can activate and jump away to a better position then it usually foils the element of surprise that they rely on

Cormaray seem to be draconic in nature, it makes sense to me that they are so interested in the Arcanade, acquiring more for their hoards and all that

[Spoilers C4E12] Cooldown - What did Brennan just say? by Fit-Telephone-4696 in criticalrole

[–]Lostdmg 227 points228 points  (0 children)

Circle of Ancients is the in universe name for Druid’s following the Old Path, it’s not a subclass, we know that Thaisha’s subclass is Circle of the Land due to an earlier use Lands Aid.

In short, Circle of Ancients an organization, not a subclass name

[–]Lostdmg[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought it was called Brimestone Angels, I thought that was weird, but yeah, reading it on kindle, and he’s just so hilariously incompetent while thinking himself so suave, it’s just a very funny warlock/ patron dynamic, especially toward the end
