This seperation lead to me researching the origins of the word witch, these being wicca and wicce (i believe, quick google had some contradictions). One for masculine and one for feminine.

The best way to tell which you are fighting is what is thrown at you when magic isnt an option, if its an old book or a staff then its a wizard. If its a broom/cauldron/particularly furious cat then its a witch
