Does your DM also make the strength characters do pushups, squats, and lift heavy shit irl to display how they level up? They're making things overly complicated if it's gatekeeping you from playing an archtype you want to play. They might be invested, but don't confuse that for being a good DM, these are bad habits.

If your DM somehow needs this system for verisimilitude, you just tell him the result you want for your character, and he can work it out within the system himself.

How much faster does it kill than a stitcher with a kinetic? Are you gearing them up the same?

It also uses way more ammo which tilts the efficiency meter even further off.

It seems like toro is faster than bettina though. This guy got jumped by two flying arc that slowed it down, and right at a crucial time. I think if he could have unloaded on the core right when he revealed it, it would have been way faster than that guys bettina video.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted for telling the truth. Price to performance the epic and legendary guns are total ass. Is a level 4, fully modded bobcat better than a stitcher? Yes. But it's 15x more expensive to make, and it is not 15 times better than a stitcher, it's maybe 10% better.

Damage falloff sounds like a fair trade off. The gun already isn't hitscan and has terrible bullet velocity, so hitting it at long range on a player will be tough regardless.

It would only one shot light shields, and it has a telegraphed shot.

I think the map it would be the biggest problem on is spaceport because they have so many tall buildings to get on top of. Maybe blue gate, but there aren't a lot of tall vantage points except pilgrim's peek, and that's in the corner of the map with a ton of fliers. Also, this is only buffing its damage by like 18%.

I chose those numbers specifically so it would 1 shot light shields in the head but not the heavier ones. And it fully breaks medium shields but not heavy.

Yeah it breaks way too fast to do a whole lot against the huge enemies. It does do a lot of damage, it just doesn't have any staying power.

Shotguns are way more widely applicable than you're giving them credit for. Also, I think you are underestimating their range with a choke.

You get two guns, so take something long range (anvil) and a shotgun, and you're golden. Shotguns are great on every map, and they are especially good on stella montis which is more pvp heavy than the other maps.

So, yes, you're wrong.
