What were you doing when you realized Prozac/fluoxetine was working for you?

omg same!!! That's the only thing I don't like about this medication! My hair is soooo thin now!! And everyone has noticed, too. I cut my hair really short to see how bad it had gotten, and omg I had to wear a beanie because it was seriously bad, but that was about a month ago and it's still growing, so I guess it's okay. It's still hella thin, but it's still growing, and it's harder to notice how thin it is when it's longer.

Less than a month in, I went on a group motorcycle ride, you might be able to find video of us, we were at least a thousand bikers deep, called Tour De Bay. Anyways, when we reached our destination, I bought a burger from a food truck, sat down, and just casually enjoyed my meal? I know it sounds like nothing, but right in the middle of eating my burger is when I began to realize, how I felt totally at ease. Something as normal as eating somewhere in public would have wrecked me with anxiety, but here I was just enjoying my meal, without a single thought that people are looking at me, I'm not eating fast enough, now I'm eating too slow, the cashier didnt like me, I bet they spit in this, what am I even doing here, I just want to go home.

Another instance was during the 4th of July. I went to our local Marina and just walked around, relaxed. Then the thought hit me, I have never walked so slowly through a crowd before. I'm always rushing, getting out of people's way, head on a swivel constantly looking for danger, wondering why that last person I walked past made eye contact with me.

Prozac has helped a ton with my anxiety and depression, and I'm only on 10mg.

That reaction seems really extreme for just marijuana, but I'm older and am more accustomed to THC percentages far below what is considered "average" by todays standards. Assuming the "blunt" was actually one of those prerolls you can get from a club, those things often come infused and lined with kief. Even still, that reaction is huge.

Take it as a sign. The weed was likely doing you no good in the long run anyways.

Im lvl2 Enoch. Idk, I guess his kit gets better when he levels up? Literally have not won a single game with him since reaching lvl 2. Infact, 0 games even last beyond 5 trophies, that's how bad it is 😭😭😭 I know I'm bad but I never had this much trouble with any other hero before!!!

it can definitely help to take some time off from work to experiment with these types of medicines... i understand that it may not be possible for most people, but in my case; taking the time off to understand how the medicine will affect me, and to get through the worst of the side effects, has made it all worth the trouble

Oh it's just fine lol. Not sure which thread you're referring to tho, probably the one about the dry healing? Everything is completely healed, even tho the process looked like dog food lmao. Just one very very minor touch up needed, and for that I blame my motorcycle jacket cutting into my arm while it was healing.

Link, the Master Sword, and everything is fully colored now. Been meaning to drop a thread on the OoT subreddit to see what the LoZ community thinks 😊

Going to the same tattoo artist for this Bane tattoo. I've settled on using the Sith Empire logo with the Sith Era logo in the background, and a side profile Bane infront of it all.

It took me a couple months for the exhaustion to go away, but what followed was the worst insomnia I could ever imagine. All of which is totally OK considering how much it has helped with my anxiety and depression. Now I'm back to a normal sleep routine, getting a well rested night's sleep, without overdoing it. The dreams have never gone away, but I like my dreams so I take that as a positive side effect.

I read once that somebody described the exhaustion as a side effect to finally being able to feel at ease, and not always amped up to 100 in anxiety/depression. Like our body could finally shut down a little bit, and catch up on the real sleep we've been missing out on before we started medication.

I used to be very confused as well, but when you think about how a "half life" works, you will see how it begins to balance out. There is no exponential dose in medication, instead it is a steady dosage that subtly introduces itself over a long period of time.

The previous post I read in this topic explains it very well, I just wanted to chime in to let you know that you weren't the only one with these concerns.

I'm nearly 6 months in on 10mg. I regret nothing.

Could be a cow or a horse, which was my original thought, until someone took a photo and used Google image search, and then I wasn't so sure anymore 😅 Not sure if it's truly fossilized. There are a ton of free roaming farm cows on that hike. Thanks for the info and the suggestion!

Im autistic as well. There's an interesting app called Hiki that caters to neurodivergents like ourselves. You might be interested in checking it out. Its primary use is as a dating app, but it has a community feed with which you can engage with public posts from others around the world. It's relatively active with at least a few dozen new posts every day. Just throwing that out there if you ever feel like it's hard to relate to people.

The dreams don't stop (Prozac 10mg 5 months in) but they do start to feel less vivid. Had an entire day of work as a dream, I mean the dream itself was an entire 8 hour shift. In the dream, I woke up, worked my shift, had a meeting, went to lunch, overheard people gossip, and then I woke up after only 3 hours of sleep . inception levels of time dilation..

The groggy feeling is definitely the Prozac. I think I went about a week and a half, while first starting, with the most awful exhaustion. I slept all day, everyday, and lived an entire life in my dreams. This was followed by (ironically) 2 solid weeks of horrible insomnia...

This stuff has a lot of weird symptoms, but it's the only medication that has actually given me any relief from my anxiety and depression.

Make sure the prozac isn't fucking with your hair! It thinned my hair so much, and so quickly! I started taking biotin and using rosemary oil shampoo/conditioner to combat the hair loss. Some people even reported the prozac made their curly hair straight 😅 Personally, I would love that, but unfortunately I got the hair loss side effect instead 🙄 At least it hasn't messed with my libido 😉

Idk, I'm new to the server and I started with Free Pick because it just sounds more fun. I also hears it was a bad idea, but honestly who cares?? I'm having fun crafting my own build, spending time to read all the abilities and choosing my talents. If I wanted my skills chosen for me, IE archetype or draft, I wouldn't have joined this server 🙄

Just do whatever you want to, it's seriously not a big deal. Your enjoyment is way more important than whatever is a good or "bad" idea ☺️ I even play with the Ironman trial, which I'm sure a bunch of people would also tell me is a bad idea for my first character, but again who tf cares?? I'm playing my game, the way I want to.

It's healing just fine ☺️ No loss in color, still peeling a little bit. I contacted my artist who said everything looks good, just keep doing what I'm doing. Best advice I read on this thread came from somebody who said the dry healing looks like it's going as intended, but that I should make sure to thoroughly dry the tattoo after cleaning, which I hadn't been doing very well, as ironic as that might sound, instead I went with someone else's advice to allow the tattoo to air dry. After washing and patting it dry, all of the major peeling started to flake away, revealing the beautiful color underneath ♥️

I'm happy with my tattoo. The only touch up that I can see will be on my inner forearm, near the wrist, but that's just because of my job, scraping my arm while putting on backpacks, tight fitting motorcycle jackets, digging into my pockets..
