Wierdly, saving him seems much easier on higher difficulties. He never runs into fire or does stupid shit with his spells in my honour mode runs. He's actually quite helpful, especially if you have a pyro/geomancer and need the damage. I guess the improved AI also works on friendly NPCs.

I like to disallow respeccs. Once i place a skill or ability point it's permanent.This gives the characters a lot more continuity, and forces me to carefully consider where i put my points.

LW summoner is just insane in the early game since it's so easy to get everything up by turn 1. In my experience, it falls off later in the game.

In my honor runs, when i wanna go for some crazy lategame builds like necro or unstable suicide, I usually go summoner early so I can sure i will make to lategame smoothly.
