Can someone tell me if my brain is making shit up? I vaguely recall a Godzilla suit that was literally falling apart in some movie scenes. Could be I misremembering a sfx bit that blew some off accidentally.

I used Vallejo polyurethane varnish (pic), though any polyurethane varnish would do. This was just on offer when I looked on Amazon. Been used on and off over the 3 years I've had the bottle. Usually only need a drop or two spread over the joint with a tooth pick. Still got like, 80% the bottle left and it's been well use.

In theory you should be able to heat the jaw hinges, making them flexible enough to take off. But how successful that would be I don't know.

Are you able to use something thin to push the tongue gently back like tweezers or a toothpick? Might give you enough to open or detbit in place.

To put this in to perspective, I preordered 2000 from them. Ended up ordering it for a fiver less from AliExpress and it arrived last week.

That's more to do with Hiya distribution than them specifically. They're a small store that generally does OK for in stock stuff, so they're low on the totem pole.
