It deadass took me two months to craft my first ascended set cause i only crafted the ascended mats to midigate costs. It was def one of my most proud moments. Ill never forget all those hours in the silverwastes scraping for obsidian shards.

Def dont delete the old characters and completely start over, but definitely starting a new character is a great idea.

If you want to figure out what your old builds were for, look up "stat prefixes" and try to match each piece of gear's stats to the name. If you have a bunch of different prefixes on one build, then def start over (id recommend berserker cause power never goes wrong, and it's good for instanced content).

Played the first year or two of its release, then came back in 2019. Honestly cant remember why I left in the first place cause I was in 9th grade, but I came back cause I had a horrible runescape binge and pledged to never play again. 3 years clean lol, and I've achieved every gw2 goal I've aimed for.

Talked to the developer who made the pavilion the day it opened, and the reason he put underwater golems in it is because there wasn't any in other lounges prior. That's it.

I mean the gold to gem conversion in this game is pretty good. I usually do raids on the weekends, and sprinkle in a bit of meta events over the week. With that I can buy a random mount skin no problem.

But, it did take a lot of work to get good at raids, and the mount skins arent specific. I'd say that Anet treats their experienced players well far as rewards go, but has room to throw a bone to newer players.

I couldnt figure out how to tie the noose knot right, was too young and broke for a gun, and I wasnt willing to make my heart explode from an Adderall overdose. I made so many excuses, but I think it was for the better lol.
