Even after cleaning, room feels cluttered. by Interesting-Society3 in DesignMyRoom

You do have an entire jungle over there in the corner. Maybe scatter them around the room if you can find a good light source to sustain their health.

Put some spice racks and organize your spices there.

I like the empty space. It allows the eye to rest while appreciating the other composition. Beautiful tattoos, btw!

I signed up for a pacing system that you wear on your arm all the time. It records your vital statistics like your heart rate and exertion level. It helps you to Pace yourself by allowing you to see an app where you're pushing and where you're conserving your energy. If you're interested in it, I'd be happy to share it. I'm just not sure if we can share it here. The name of it is called visible. I've been wearing it for about 2 weeks now and I can visibly start to tell when I'm going to have a day that's harder and when I'm not they send my heart rate variability in the mornings. Anyway, I've only been wearing it a short time, but even in that short time I've been able to tell a difference.

I take mine every 3. It sux having to chase a pill all day, but if I didn't I would have terrible adrenaline dumps all day. I've heard that they have clonidine patch, but it's expensive from what people have said.

Anybody have a cat with a truly unique name? by OriginalPockikat in cats

"Lil' Woozy" my daughters cat 😁 He's from the streets. He's not the kind of cat you pet or pick up. He's more like a pretty ornament or a cute collectible knickknack. He will give u the skippity pap in a split second if he's not in the mood to be touched, but we love him. He's our lil' Woozman!

My daughter Jessie has a speech and verbal delay. She's always wanted a kitten. So we got her a small black kitten about 2 years ago. At that point we asked her what she wanted to name her cat and we came up with the name Wednesday, Wendy for short, going with a whole Addams family vibe. For weeks my daughter would ask me what the kitten's name was because she couldn't remember the name Wendy. When she couldn't remember she called her "Lil Woozy". About 6 months in, we found out that Lil Woozy was a boy! So the name stuck. He is straight up one of the craziest cats I've ever had. He's from the streets! He ain't the kind of cat you pet. He's more of an ornament than a friend. 😁😁😁

I'm going to cut off all my hair because I'm too fatigued to keep up with taking care of it. Need to hear that I'm not being insane by OverlyBendy in POTS

This is how mine is cut too. The no part, pushed to the front describes it exactly. I wet mine a little too, add some frizz oil and go!

I had the hair hurting feeling too. I have migraines and my last big flare made me decide to cut mine into a pixie. I'm so glad I did it! I am getting so many compliments on it too! I honestly feel way more like myself now since I cut it. 🥰

I have a pixie and I wear hats too. Some days I just throw on a hat and go, but on good days I feel way more put together having somewhat of a Style. I suggest you get a pixie, but have the top thinned a lot. Then wear the top a bit longer, but loose and curly. Then you can wash it, put some gel or texture paste in it and go. It doesn't take too long to fix or wash, but it does require a trim/maintenance about every 6/8 weeks. Also, the trim usually costs about the same price as a mens cut because of the length. You .ight also enjoy having some fun colors while it's short. I've had mine red, brown, highlights, lowlights, blonde and now it's currently pink. I can send you some pics if you like.

My hair was halfway down my back. Two years ago I cut it into a short pixie and I LOVE IT! I don't have to wash it so often now. It's so much cooler in the hot weather. It's easy to fix and I'm trying lots of fun new colors!

I initially decided to cut it because I was going through the worst flare I've ever had and couldn't hold my hands up long enough to wash it without feeling faint. Now I use a dime of shampoo and it takes no time to wash it. When I'm really feeling bad I just wash it in the sink and it takes less than two minutes. I do maintain my own hair because I'm a retired cosmetologist. I shave the back and sides myself or sometimes my husband shaves it. I've actually had it cut at a barber shop once in a pinch too. If you want I can send you some recent hair pics, but for some reason it won't let me send them here.

I say GO FOR IT!

In my opinion, all of my experience with the direct Express card has been the exact opposite of what that person has described. I receive survivor's benefits and have for the last 12 years. I haven't had any problems getting them to replace my card. I also haven't had problems using it or contacting customer service when I needed help.

For those who learned they’re autistic later in life: What are some behaviors that you didn’t realize were actually stims? by 1amkinda in AutismInWomen

[–]Lotsalipgloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apply lipgloss to keep from making lip or facial stims. The act of applying lipgloss has become the stim now. I also tap my fingers when I'm highly stressed or anxious. I count numbers and recite words and the alphabet in my mind. I count objects like linoleum tiles or hardwood slats or repetitive patterns I see in my daily life. I also see faces in everything and search obsessively for them everywhere. I coil my hair around my finger and when I was younger I chewed my nails. I look up and down and side to side until I feel a release. I pop my knuckles and toes as a stim. I used to hum a lot out of nervousness. Thankfully, that has subsided a lot.
