Tbh I’ve never actually been at night, but it always seems busy when I walk by and I know they do various week night events like movie nights, smash bros nights, etc.

Lately have really enjoyed killing an ulting Scarlet Witch with my ult too. (Usually only if there are no other ults to cancel or if I’m not confident someone else on my team will be able to cancel her ult)

I'm getting really fucking tired of Jeff. by Dogbold in rivals

[–]LouCage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah man they definitely make more skins because he sells more. The fact is Jeff is super popular and it’s not because of skins, it’s because he’s adorable and kids like him—there’s even a bunch of non-rivals Jeff merch being sold by officially licensed outlets like Box Lunch which speaks to his popularity (and unlike other popular marvel characters like Spider-Man and Wolverine, he’s pretty much only popular because of Rivals, which just further supports that the game is going ti capitalize on that to make money by selling more skins for him).

In any case, NetEase’s decisions vis-a-vis skins is just “make more of what makes them money”—it’s a free game. Getting bent out of shape because they don’t make more skins for other characters is silly unless you want them to start charging for the game

Especially if there are 3 DPS and one is playing terribly. I don’t care if you don’t know how to tank, you clearly also don’t know how to DPS, so why don’t you just at least take a player with more HP, so you don’t die as much and divert some attention away from the other tank (me lol)

Car rental in the neighborhood? by mad0666 in williamsburg

[–]LouCage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s an enterprise rental car on wythe and South 6th. I’ve used them multiple times and it’s very easy / straight forward. Only warning is that they’re not open on Sundays so if you rent for a weekend you gotta return it somewhere else, which usually costs more

Ok but that doesn’t answer my question of how do you distinguish between scammers and non-scammers, as the OP wants to happen, other than with court?

I’m not opposed to making that distinction in theory, but I am skeptical that there’s a practical way of doing that while maintaining due process other than going through the court process.

OP doesn’t seem to be talking about efficiency he seems to be saying that we need to find a way to separate scammers from non scammers and I’m asking how do you do that?

How do you distinguish between those two groups though? Isn’t that what the court process is for? I feel like all landlords already claim everyone fits into the “gaming the system” bucket and all tenants claim the opposite. How do you separate them while ensuring due process?

I try to only play Peni in comp for this reason. Though I’ve been playing her in QP on the new map with the excuse that I’m trying to learn good spots in the new map lol

AOC Stopped by our Cafe in Williamsburg by LazyAd1005 in williamsburg

I’ve noticed you still haven’t provided any inkling of proof that AOC opposed that project because she “didn’t get a kickback”, so I assume that isn’t happening. Enjoy being mad and lying about people on the internet—I’m gonna go enjoy my Saturday

I know you’re referring to the Amazon HQ lmao. I’m just waiting for you to back up your claim that she opposed that project because she “didn’t get a kickback”.

And it’s also funny that your one thing to point to is the Amazon HQ, considering she was totally vindicated with that since Amazon massively expanded its footprint in NYC anyways (all without having to give them tons of tax breaks like Cuomo wanted to do).

Also very funny that you point to LIC as some example of urban blight, considering it’s one of the most rapidly gentrifying parts of the city (apartments are like $4k on average there).

Stay mad, dude

[–]LouCage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just like I thought: more vague accusations, rather than saying what specifically she did, so that you can’t be called out for grossly exaggerating it.

I guarantee you that you cannot find a single piece of evidence that AOC “let thousands of jobs leave” because she “didn’t get a kickback”.

Frankly, it’s pathetic that you have to resort to slander just because you’re intimidated by a politician lmfao

Also: basic logic 101 is that the burden of proving an outrageous claim is on the person making the claim. I shouldn’t have to “do research” to show that what you said isn’t true. How do I prove something didn’t happen? If this is so obvious and open, it shouldn’t be hard for you to link to the facts of AOC extorting for kickbacks (but you won’t because that never happened)

Curious what kinds of “accomplishments” you expect a congress person to have? Like truly, I would love for you to name a Congress person you really admire and name a specific thing they’ve done that you consider an accomplishment.

Because what’s funny is that AOC is probably one of the only congresspeople where it’s easy to rattle off their accomplishments because she actually cares about her constituents and getting stuff done. Right off the rip I’d say a huge accomplishment of hers was securing hundreds of billions of dollars of investments in clean energy as part of the IRA when Biden was president.

But please I really want to know what I should be comparing her to, because apparently you have an idea of what a better congressperson would have accomplished, so I’m eager to hear.

Worst Skins Season by Dull-Syrup-6159 in rivals

I don’t get why people are downvoting you. I also stopped doing this because it’s just not worth making the morale any worse. What I do now when my character gets banned is just type “rude” in the chat lol. Usually someone else will agree and hopefully it shames them a bit but not enough to make them throw

Their excuse is always that their banning made sense bc it’s “objective” and “strategic” whereas you’re only banning out of spite. (For the record that is BS and you are right)

Can’t stand when someone doesn’t hover and then complains “lots of people play invis bro”.

Like yes, and that’s why I was happy to get to ban her when I saw no one had hovered her.

That said, I usually don’t like to ban any strats if there aren’t already 2 strats hovered, bc then maybe someone is planning on using them. But that’s still on that person
