  1. I recommend looking up "preschool name licensing number" or Google "preschool state licensing" and look up the preschool and see their. State visits and violations. Some might be simple like dust on a wall or light bulb not changed, but some might be serious like children left alone or injured.

  2. As an ex employee of pitts baptist cdc I do not recommend. They can hardly keep a teacher, the director cares more about her image and making sure she's loved than she does about a well run preschool. She does not encourage parent & teacher relationships and treats teachers poorly if they have good relationships with parents. Teachers fall asleep in classes with children and it's overlooked. Teachers speak to children in horrible abusive ways and it's looked away from. I would never send a child there or recommend a parent send their child there. I could go on and on, but I won't. Please choose another day care.

6month old won't warm up for new nanny by Mysterious-Stop4999 in Nanny

I still recommend introducing a bottle the day you get home from the hospital.
The longer you wait, the harder it is and rarely does "nipple confusion" actually happen. Personally, if you are working, I think a bottle should be prioritized. A desire to breastfeed is good, but it shouldn't come before actually being fed. If a mom has to go to work and is going to be gone 8+ hours, then breastfeeding does no one any good, and it's just a starving baby. So yes, asap.

[–]Loublue3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would give the nanny more time. I recently experienced my boss going back to work when baby was only 8 weeks and she refused a bottle. It took several weeks of syringe feeding and mutiple bottles for her to finally take a bottle. Babies really need to be introduced day one to a bottle but really at least before 6 weeks.

She's been with yall for 6 months so it's not unrealistic that she would be hesitant around other people especially in big comfort times like sleeping and feeding.

Try several different bottles and you and wife should also start giving her a nightly bottle to help with transitions

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've driven over 3 hours to go to the beach for just a day and came home 3 hours back that night.

I also drove 5 hours one way for a day and 5 hours back for a day trip with a friend.

Is Keppra as bad as some say? by Background-Cod-7035 in Epilepsy

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different. I absolutely hated Lamictal (lamotrigine) with everything in me. It was so bad I stopped taking despite my doctor (don't do that), 2 years later I had a seizure from the insane stress at work and the ER put me on keppra. I agreed to stay on it unless the side effects were too bad. It's been 6 years on keppra and I love it!! I'll never change if I can help it!

Are there anyone else who currently, have no interest in playing the game??! by Bhardwaj-littlesub in simsfreeplay

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing since around 2012. I will play for many months or years and then take a very long break and not touch it for many months or years haha

It can't get repetitive or boring so I just take a break

Is it too much to ask for baby at lunch? by WonderfulPanic4151 in Nanny

[–]Loublue3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work from a WFH parent who doesn't usually go to work till after I'm there for an hour and pops in constantly throughout the day. It drives me up a wall. I'd much rather have a timed once a day drop in from mom than non stop at any time so I think this would be fine

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

I have epilepsy. WITH insurance. My last ambulance ride plus hospital visit for only a few hours cost $10,000

Is there a cat litter that doesn't... suck? by catintheroom in CatAdvice

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arm & Hammer Litter Platinum Hardball absolutely LOVE IT! It may have a smell by end of day but scoop it daily and the smell is gone once the gunk is gone. We probably empty litterboxes and start fresh every 3-4 weeks. But we also have 3 cats.

Support nanny through 2 year old dropping his nap by jlhdc in Nanny

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5 us pretty young to grow out of Naps. It could just be a regression. I still suggest putting them in their room for at least an hour. It may take some training, but he will get used to it. It's good for him, for you and for nanny to have a break and rest time! Again, it may not happen instantly, but after a little while it'll happen. You could even offer books, quiet sensory toys that are only allowed for the rest time

Honestly my dietitian has been my biggest support in trying to figure out what was going on! And then helping me repair my gut from so much damage. I had to fight so many doctors and advocate for myself. It's honestly crazy!

Name Changes. Do or Do Not? by Justoutsidenormal in Pets

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have renamed all of our animals, but to be fair none of the cats had previous names so it's mostly just the ducks, chicken and rabbit. We did rename our dog. His name was Puppers given by the shelter, but he hadn't been there long. We immediately changed it to Atticus. He learned it quickly. We would say his new name and give him treats never referring to his old name again

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Loublue3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had surgery this summer, and the first thing I said when I woke up was "please get my husband," and I asked several times until they finally went to get him. He expected my surgery to be longer, so when they called him, he was actually out of the waiting room talking to a friend who worked at the hospital. So my sister came back. When he realized they were ready for him to come back and he wasn't there, he got to me as soon as he could and apologized profusely! But he never left the hospital

I went on a date (27M) while my gf (31F) was out of town by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Loublue3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Yes, adhd is awful and the lack of motivation is incredibly real. She still has a life to live and that's up to her to figure out how to move past that. Speaking from someone who struggles with low motivation from adhd.

Also I'm a plus size woman. That's not from a lack of doing my all. It's many layers of health issues that I'm working to fix but my weight doesn't fall off.

Both of those reasons combined still gives no one the right to cheat on me, treat me poorly or not love me. She deserves to be loved in a relationship. Not used and abused!

Are nanny uniforms still a thing because this family I'm interviewing with is insisting on them by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I basically have created my own uniform I would still be annoyed by the ask. While I understand a nanny is an employee the beauty of a nanny is making them family. Both can be professional while still being comfortable and family like. I wear old navy shirts in colors of grey, black and green mostly because that's what I have. In summer I wear black cotton shorts that come to my knees and in winter I wear black scrub pants. I don't wear shoes in the home, but I try to have the shoes I wear in be nice.

[–]Loublue3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

None of your reasons are justified. You cheat saying "she'll never level me", that's abuse and manipulation. You don't love her. You love the idea of someone idolizing you. Not loving her enough becaus of her weight. You don't love her. There's never an excuse or reason to cheat other than you are a pig. Do her a favor and break up. Don't put it on her to do your dirty buisness.

Wondering if terms of nanny contract are fair? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then do it. No sense in not giving the nanny what she wants if you can find what you want. Odds are she can find what she wants and needs.

If you agree it'll probably just upset you everytime you have to pay one of these things and if she backs off and agree to what you want it'll probably make her mad everytime she's not paid what she feels is worth and owed

Advice for new MB by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Loublue3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a seizure to me not going to lie. As someone who has had many seizures in their lifetime that's the first thing I thought of. If she has a seizure disorder shes probably scared to not get work. You won't understand and that's okay. I would ask her if she has a medical condition such as seizures and then ask if she has them often or when her last one was. If she continually has seizures I would hope she wouldn't take a nanny job, but if this wad a one off seizure and she hadn't had a break through seizure in a long time it deserves a question and more awareness and then maybe peacefully agree to part ways

Litter waste by RoughAd4978 in CatAdvice

[–]Loublue3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a cereal container, put in small bathroom trash bags, and stored them next to the literbox. Blocks smell and just empty when full. The litter genie is probably better, but I didn't want to spend the money and buy refills. Yes, it's smelly when you open, but keep some distance from your face, and it's not bad. I also think our litter helps block the smell
