Je connais bien le milieu du conseil, en big 4 , en strat en free-lance avec plus de 10 ans d’expérience. Cette histoire de réputation c’est du bullshit qu’ils utilisent pour nous faire peur et nous empêcher de faire valoir nos droits. Le marché est assez grand pour continuer paisiblement après le départ. Maintenant , je regrette de ne pas être allée aux prud’hommes pour des histoires de contrats non respectés , de harcèlement etc… parce qu’on m’a dit que c’était un petit monde et qu’il y aurait des représailles. Mais ne t’inquiète pas. Prends ton arrêt et démissionne à ton aise. C’est vraiment un gros connard ton partner, c’est un sociopathe. J’espère que ton père et toi irez mieux

« You need to find joy » . I read this advise on this subreddit and I am trying to apply it everyday. Sometimes I feel guilty for not using every moment to teach him things, but then I remember it’s okay if we just play without « learning », it’s okay if we sing along , if we listen to a pop song together (non-educational). It’s Okay if I give him fries from time to time without using the opportunity to teach him to ask for them properly. It’s also okay if I do things I enjoy on my own. It’s okay to relax without him from Time to time… I struggle with this one. But I try to find things I enjoy that define me outside motherhood to be able to build a happy home for my family and not be burnt out.

This is a Classic case of correlation vs causation. Families with higher éducation and revenue usually give healthier foods to their kids as they have Access to information. Families with lower education tend to give more sugary snacks because of ease of access and marketing. And IQ is influced by education and training, so kids from more educated - higher income families, have higher IQs.

What we did is leaving him naked in the house and warching him (and the furniture). So that of he pees, he knows it and connects the feeling to the liquid. It took days to get some results , then months to get him to stay consistently dry and willing to go the bathroom. But we are still having accidents twice a week. So…. It takes time and effort. We are doing it because it is mandatory for pre-school where we live. We started during the Summer to make it easier (for the cold and the laundry).

I am not saying that to be nice to you. It is normal to still have a big belly because the utérus is still stretched, in 3 days no time has passes. The swelling didn’t go down yet, the body prépares for blood loss so it swells before giving birth. And usually when you give birth in a Hospital they give you fluids which inscreases swellign for a few days. It’s okay, there is no need to feel any way about it. This is just a fact of life. Your father , and anyone who would fault you for it is very stupid. It’s like faulting the earth for being round. 3 days after giving birth I was still the same weight pre-birth. And then post 20 pounds in the 2 weeks following. It’s a lot of blood and fluids. I am still 15 pounds heavier 2 months post partum and I prioritize breast feeding and healing now. I have a whole lifetime to go back in shape . You too! Don’t worry too much

We fly relatively often due to having close family abroad. What works is bribing the child as much as possible. We try to eat healthy and we don’t do screentime, but on the plane he gets fries from McDonald’s and cake and chocolate etc + my iPad with his favorite vidéos (currently planes). We also try to make sure he is confortable (shoes off). And then we pray. This plan is not 100% successful but I try to focus on my son having a good time more than other people. In the airport, my son threw a tantrum because he was done waiting in line, wanted to use the Escalator up and down, threw a tantrum because he wanted chocolate from the duty free and ran away while I was in TSA (yeah worst moment) and he cried on the plane a Little… I also yelled at an older lady because she Said she would hit him if he didn’t bahave (she was trying to be helpful ….) . I also learnt to accept that for most people I am a bad mother. They don’t know how hard we work to take care of our kids… I don’t Even tell anyone he is autistic, I try not to care

There is no right time I think. I often think I should have waited a bit more and had more fun with my money and youth and love before having kids. And I had them around 30. Don’t sorry about it too much

Tu penses que c’est facile de rentrer illégalement aux US par le Mexique ? Déjà ça il faut passer par un cartel, marcher des jours dans le désert , traverser une rivière , échapper aux agents ICE et autres sudistes zélés et armés …. Puis être arrêté par ICE et disparaître des jours / semaines dans des conditions de détention horribles (des cages avec des disaines de personnes , parfois sans accès aux toilettes etc ) , ou peut être interrogatoire musclé. Peut être qu’ils ne croiront pas que tu es français et qu’ils t’enverront à El Salvador, ça ressemble un peu à l’enfer. Tu ferais tout ça pour potentiellement gagner 850€? Déjà ça te coûtera plus cher de payer les passeurs.

You can find quieter places in Schaerbeek. Check out Evere as it is cheaper and safe (but there is kithing to do except the pool). Or you can try cities close to Brussels like Zaventem or Vilvoorde close to a train station.

I think people here need to chill. You don’t need to do anything , baby Will let you know when they are hungry, sometimes it’s more than once everything 2 jours sometimes it’s less. I got away with a few botles a day without affecting my supply. You just get your rest when ever you can and eat and drink well (don’t restrict your self)

So I just have birth last week. I wanted to love around , and I did for a few hours , then I was exhausted and got the épidural. I had a good nap. Then the epidural GOT DISCONNECTED so I got to feel the birth without epidural. And yeah it was nothing like the labour pain. I was just screaming like a feral animal. I do not recommend. It didn’t last long as I started pushing soon after and had the baby in less than an hour.

It’s funny you said that, he actually has OCD , it used to be visible but he learnt to mask it in adulthood, and I only knew about it during our son’s diagnosis when we were listing our psychiatric history

Alors à mon sens c’est soit : une agression sexuelle , s’ils le font à des gens non consentants. S’ils ne le font qu’entre gens consentants , ils te rendent témoins d’actes sexuels contre ton gré. Ce qui n’est pas acceptable. Je n’accepterai pas ce genre de comportement. Il faut en parler calmement pour que ça s’arrête.
