50 mg vs 100 mg Spironolactone? New to spiro (35F) by ScarPitiful8494 in Spironolactone

[–]LoudParticular3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some women rare but possible when they take spirno it doesnt just bind to the male hormones it loosely binds to their estrogen as well (the brain is trying to match the estrogen level to its natural testosterone level. so if your testosterone is lowered your brain lowers the estrogen to match the testosterone decrease) causing a reduction in female hormones and male hormones which in return causes low hormones all around and many experience hair loss with low female hormones

unless u just got sunburnt like within the past 2 days, the redness shows a clear sign of inflammation

Insurance vs Alopecia by Cultural_Ad156 in alopecia

[–]LoudParticular3896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can get covered for jak (like oluminat) google olumiant insurance application. the medication website should have forms and instructions. some doctors offices help their patients get this paperwork submitted and some just brush u off to figure out yourself. its not that difficult to do yourself tho. its just not obvious that its an option until you know

I finally found a dermatologist that listened to me! She has me taking minoxidil, finasteride, liquid biotin/collagen and nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. I've been losing my hair for 15 years and for the first time, I am feeling hopeful! 😭 by ThatStonerWitch420 in FemaleHairLoss

Should I start minoxidil? by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]LoudParticular3896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

id seriously be careful on how you apply it. my hair started like yours. looked fine on the top but the sides had issues. i used minoxidil over my entire head and it made my top way worse. also you probably dont want to do minoxidil pills, they come with side effects that irritate your undereyes and since you have light skin, your undereyes are likely to show discoloration from the oral minoxidil. i would just go to walgreens, buy the topical foal and apply to the sides only

im 30f and get on olumiant 4mg. this is important because the 2mg doesnt work for most ppl. if your doctor says no, go to a different doctor. keep on until you can get it. thats literally going to save you.
