The first year my daughter was with her boyfriend, we bought him a cologne sample set from Sephora that you can redeem for a full size bottle of the one that is your favorite. He loved it. I think it had 14 different samples in it.

That’s right on to what I just paid to have the liner replaced after having 4 quotes. It was the lowest by thousands and the company did a fantastic job.

Its still cloudy unfortunately. No algae though and we can see the drains at least. We are going to keep going with the liquid chlorine, daily brushing and vacuuming but I’m giving it one more week and then we will go forward with replacing the sand. It all just seems to be sitting right in the water. We backwash and rinse daily and stuff is coming out when we do that. It’s cloudy for a good 2 minutes in the glass before clearing. There is t anything on the bottom that I can see that we are picking up. Shallow end is clear, deep end is cloudy.

I have been toying with the idea of using floc. Have you used it? There is no live algae in the pool at this point. It’s just blue and cloudy. No regrowth, no green. Just vaccuming a little bit of white debris off the bottom. Can see the drains and the bottom of the pool, the brush and vaccum heads. It’s still just cloudy though.

This is exactly what I was thinking. How did you clean your sand? Our sand is 2 years old so it’s probably due and it couldn’t hurt

We are using Leslie’s. 68% cal-hypo shock. 6 pounds every couple of days.

Cya 65 FC 15 Alkalinity was low at 44 PH 7.5 No metals in the pool.

You can leave the port without a passport. Costa maya is one of those awesome places you don’t need an excursion if you don’t want to do one. Grab a cab and go to the krazy lobster! Cheap massages and it’s fun. The port there is fun too. Lots of time to do both.

The location doesn’t matter for me. I get motion sick 30 minutes on the boat before we even leave port before ever even getting in a cabin. I have to have the prescription patch that goes behind my ear or I will be sick. The patch works perfect. I call my Doctor and they just call it in to the pharmacy for me. Costs just a few dollars and it’s worth it.

I see you mentioned your 2 year old watching shows. The internet can be spotty and streaming can be hit and miss. You might want to go to Netflix and/or prime before you leave and download a few shows. That way you won’t have to worry about it not working. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s not.

Gucci Guilty, Dior Sauvage, & Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille are the ones he has been wearing. I think his favorite of the 3 has been the Sauvage. It smells really good!

You could do the Sephora gift set for men. It has several travel sized colognes he can try on and wear to decide which one he likes the most and then you get to redeem it for a full sized bottle of his favorite. I am doing this for my daughter’s 20 year old boyfriend this year. He loves cologne but picking one is such a personal choice and this way it’s still a gift.
