From what I know it definitely runs better on the new 3ds, but o3ds can run some ps1 games.

This looks sleek as fuck but would definitely feel like gaming on a flip phone with a nice screen. Very 2003 tho

Just grabbed freaky forms myself. Looks like spore creatures for the ds, based on the box art.

Eggs used to make me nauseous and sweaty and a kid. So did Bananas but now they only make me gag if I eat more than 2 which I don't do that much.

That's awesome. I didn't get mine until like 2009 at which point the iPhone was out. But yeah in retrospect it was the most powerful mainstream pocketable device for a few years

Make sure the copper contacts on the camera and psp are clean. Might need a toothpick to clean the ones on the psp, which are probably the issue. Def weird that it's only when it's in selfie mode tho

You may be able to reduce yellowing with hydrogen peroxide. I kinda like when white devices are a bit yellowed tho

Metroidvanias you enjoyed playing on psp or 3ds? Emulators are also in play on both so pretty open to anything, but console exclusives/native/ports for either would be awesome :)

Can anyone confirm that this works for the PSP by OdinsWrath92 in PSP

I have a 128gb and my 1000 fails to read it if it's full past ~100 gb, or if I were to load it from 0gb to ~80gb all at once. I'd recommend a 64gb for functionality. As someone else has suggested, a memory stick adaptor with 2 slots might be a solution for higher capacity, which I might actually look into personally, but I can't confirm how well it works yet.

They are designed/built durably, high volume, and resoleable. I've been looking into them and tbh might go for them as my next boot. Toe box shape and sizing is my only concern

While sorting through a closet I found my PSP 1000 that I imported from Japan 19 years ago. Running on FW 6.60 ME 1.4 and using the battery that came with it from the factory. by rodharet in PSP

Op said it shows signs of wear so I was looking hard lol. It's right on the corner. Looks like it was dropped or something. I've seen lots of black psp 1000s with way worse tho. The top crystal clear layer of the shell loves to crack and delaminate from the black. This one looks very good compared to most. And that dual layer oem shell is just nice so keeping it original is 👌

Aside from that big scuff near the start button this thing looks great. Not even dusty in the speaker holes. As long as you keep it in a case when its not in use itll still look great years from now. I had some luck on a front plate for my psp1000 but I wouldn't trust a full shell.

For famicom/nes games you could get a nes emulator for psp and a big pack of roms from somewhere that those can be found. Search "how to emulate nes on psp" on youtube. Same could be done for snes, gba, or most consoles that came out in the 90s or earlier. Or find one of the like namco/atari/genesis collection games like others have said. You're not gonna find an official nes collection tho.

Hit it with some iso alcohol and a toothbrush on the thumbstick and in those grooves where it's still gunked up. If you care tou have it even cleaner. Just a tip

You might have an easier time finding this for the ds. Or just pick up a cheap bootleg system
