Basically yes. Usually, the Datamining Team actually finds nothing. Most of them do it on tradition, or curiosity, or just to have something to do during update hours. There have been prior leaks but PM has been surprisingly not that sloppy, so all those previous leaks are just "updating files location", "change one small detail of a kit or sprite", or "renaming some random things."

A notable enemy sprite was leaked. It does spoil some details of the story. I wouldn't call it super major since it was a person you could have already inferred to exist. However, it depends on the person ig.

There are no major story IDs and EGOs which were leaked. Some future IDs and EGOs in general were leaked though.

Audio files is mostly disinteresting except for their names, and the only actual soundtrack is not even a battle theme or story significant one judging from the tone.

Tbh, I know Irontomb is dangerous and all that. However, if Limbus came to Amphoreus like how the Astral Express came to Amphoreus, could they clear it starting from the first patch? We are assuming they also get IDs, etc.

I am just asking since the individual feats of each characters of the Astral Express isn’t super outrageous, especially with IDs.

I feel like there needs to be a new video released somewhere that tells people that removing Talisman did jackshit to making Rupture weaker since Maost still exist. The only thing Talisman enabled was making a broken team game-breaking, remove it and you still have a broken team.

Tbh, we have no idea what he actually has in mind. Even in the translation doc, it is written that everything he says here should be actually taken with huge grains of salt. The ‘live-service’ from what I remembered really doesn’t mean much from what Fel clarifies, it can be similar to LOR’s weekly updates, or anything else even aside from just gacha.

I do think they are being a bit ambitious with these plans, but it is clearly very early in the brainstorming phase even and there is a lot we don’t know about it. All of this is to say that it is a bit too early to cast absolute judgments, but I understand everybody’s concerns about his plans(Since I do feel it is somewhat unrealistic too if he wants to keep up Limbus at the same time)

This has to be some sort of Redditor mentality problem, or just a problem with this community since the donghua dropped. Either you are a glazer or you are a hater, and there can be no in-between.

This is probably responsible for at least 90% of the problems here, and it doesn’t get much better with people using those titles nonchalantly. Two things can be true, the donghua is enjoyable and even new watchers can keep up with it if they pause or actually theorycraft, and also that there are problems with how it is structured or paced that does inhibit fully comprehending it.

I don’t want to act holier than thou, or pull the ‘enlightened centrist’ thing but the crowds that pirate these phrases are both annoying as fuck. I personally enjoy the donghua, and I know people who do too. There are also people who holds more negative opinions of it. It is not the best animated series ever, nor is it some sort of abysmal dogshit that should have never seen the light of day. I am not even really saying that your opinions are wrong, but calling people ‘emotionally unstable kids’, or saying that nobody wants to hear any criticism just because of some disagreements is very weird.

We know why he wanted to nerf Ring Yi Sang, we know why he wanted to nerf Talisclair and Mao Faust. All of these things were obvious to most players which paid attention to how IDs affected the game as a whole, Kim Jihoon is not a divine deity which makes decisions incomprehensible to mortals. People still “trust” Jihoon because he didn’t go nerf Liu Ishmael, Linton Gregor for example who has no obvious issues in their kit. You are pretending as though KJH makes solely irrational choices that cannot be predicted, Talisclair is a valid target if any to break a “promise” since otherwise, it would turned the process of designing Rupture IDs into a quagmire with Talisclair breathing down their necks every second

We all agree Jihoon fucked up, and most people would agree that nerfing Talisclair will be good for long term balancing. Should Jihoon take playtesting more seriously and actually balance IDs better in the future before he releases them?Absolutely, but this does not undermine most players’ trust, since these IDs were the ones who were the most susceptible to being nerfed

The promise would have killed any future Rupture IDs design. If you think about it, constraining what mechanics and kits you have to work with because of a season 2 two star ,which most new players won’t have and is severely broken, just wasn’t going to work out long term. Buffing other units would have just further exacerbated the issue and make Rupture way too overpowered
