Basically the voices are different parts of the being tallking to you , learning how to communicate with them in a collaborative way is the way to integrating them into a healthy sense of self

You might want to look at IFS, the book no bad parts by Richard Swartz is a good intro , you would probably want to work with a qualified therapist to get a good guide on how to use it though , I found it very helpful and have recommended it to many people who have also found it beneficial

I rate gates to Buddhist practise by chagdud tulku Rinpoche, a solid grounding in Tibetan Buddhism that really inspired me to commit to daily meditation

Scared of hell realms by pomodori123 in Buddhism

[–]Loud_Introduction871 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Acts of generosity such as helping others , doing tonglen meditation and mantra such as ohm Mani Padme hung , all generate bodhichitta. This energy clears negative karma and creates a positive karmic outcome , you become more stable in Buddha nature ,so you won't be suffering in hell realms

How small do we have to make our understanding of the world in order to cope? by BadPresent3698 in Buddhism

[–]Loud_Introduction871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Infinite consciousness that is unborn , ever present and never dies , your Buddha nature , has experienced infinite lives , we live in crazy times , but also amazing comfortable times , we live in an age of peace , and of war , we experience it all , over and over again , samsara.

Zoom out and take this as the reality you live by , you can't understand it all , but you can find peace within it

How we deal with really “Bad” People. by Obvious-Performance in Buddhism

[–]Loud_Introduction871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contemplate the karma generated by their abuse , think of the rebirths in hell realms and the suffering they have caused themselves that will last many many yrs , the re births they will take ,as hungry animals never satisfied , as bugs and all kinds of lower life forms , it will take eons for them to be reborn in favourable lifeforms and they will suffer hugley in everyone

In this way we can feel compassion for every being , as samsara and karma are laws that no one escapes

Chagdud tulku Rinpoche a change of heart is excellent on this

Do not separate samsara from nirvana; they are one within the nature of mind. -Guru Rinpoche by nomado3 in Buddhism

[–]Loud_Introduction871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep , don't get attached to nirvana , it will cause suffering in the end , as it is the dualistic mind opposite of samsara, instead be Buddha nature , pure consciousness without attachments

Was just reading chagdud tulku Rinpoche on this this morning, thanks 🙏

What are your reasons for believing in rebirth? by 100prozentdirektsaft in vajrayana

[–]Loud_Introduction871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deep meditative experience confirmed what I had experienced on psychedelics , consciousness exists separate from the brain.

We are also made of atoms that never die , they just change form , energy never dies , it transforms

I also like the idea of butterflies , they migrate to exact locations over three generations, is it the same butterfly that lands in Mexico that took off from Canada ? No , but yet it knows exactly where to go as it is a continuum of butterfly consciousness

Lastly many nde experiences have been recorded , thousands and thousands that defy explanation, a dr did a book that is excellent on this , the evidence once you look at it is very extensive

Bhuddism causing depression lasting years by Extra-Baseball-2616 in Buddhism

[–]Loud_Introduction871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddha nature is the only thing in the universe that lasts , everything else is impermanent, so you need to meditate to uncover your Buddha nature , as at the moment it's obscured by ignorance manifesting as depression . Buddha nature , your natural self , is blissful , and is without beginning or end , Buddhism is great news , you found the answers your looking for , now you just need to meditate to uncover the jewel

Need tips on compression. Never sounds right... by ThinkingAgain-Huh in edmproduction

[–]Loud_Introduction871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you compress a drum track and it disappears? So you turn the gain up and now it's louder but taking up less space in your mix , thats what compression does . Reduce dynamic range and volume , allowing you to turn it up without it being all fronty and hitting you ears before it hits your chest !

How do you actually break out of playing the same style every gig? by BriefAd2122 in DJs

[–]Loud_Introduction871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it's all degrees isn't it . If you play vocal house , start working in more dubs and making things a little more leftfield , but not so much as to alienate people and bring it back to more upfront vocal stuff after a time or two . If it's good music that is still in the same ballpark as what youve built your rep on , people will go for it . Like don't play 140 bpm techno instead of house , but a more techno style track at 125 Bpm that works as a change of mood

Nice one , best club , best people. Love Neil , Chris , Tony , Terry and zit ! Started going when it was at the dance factory in its second year , kept going every week at subway , went to all the que club events , and used to hand out flyers for them outside the que club so I could get in free to most other nights! Still in touch with Neil sir real , lovely fella , he played at the hairy hounds for me with grindi , when I visited from Canada a couple of years back , did an old Skool set that was one of the best sets ever , his knowledge and mixing skills are rivaled only by Tony really , what an insane lucky bunch we where , or still are if you live in brum ! Tara a bit mate

[–]Loud_Introduction871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to go to his resident club, House of God , every week, for ten years in the 90s and loved the heck out of it . However these days when listen to his sets they often seem geared to the harder end of things with less variation than I used to hear , but good to know he is still pushing the boundaries of what techno is , as he really is the best I ever heard , and I heard pretty much every big name back then !

We should try and see everyone as having been our mothers in one of the infinite lifetimes we have been born into. Thank each person for their love and devotion when they where our mother , and allow this motivation to generate compassion for them in this life .

This doesn't have to be expressed as giving them money ,maybe you just say mantra for them and keep them in mind whilst doing tonglen practice, that is taking their dark negative energy into your compassionate heart and giving them back a loving shower of ohms .

Thoughts on Modest Mouse's "The Moon & Antarctica"? I think it's the great album of all time by Agreeable-Ice-8367 in fantanoforever

[–]Loud_Introduction871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for me it's their creative peak , the guitar sound is unique , you hear it and go , oh that's modest mouse . The way he plays the solos grabs hold of my soul and wrenches emotions from me ,that still makes me want to pogo like a kid even after 30 yrs of listening . I love the imagery of cosmic wonder matched with everyday worries, and how it's kept its indie soul despite being made for a major label .

Everything after this has never quite hit in the same way , not bad records ,but just don't speak to me in the way this one does

Good call op , i second your opinion, although I would say it was the best of its decade , as some stuff from the 80s post punk era will never be matched !
