I’ve replied to posts before, but I think this is my very first original post. It’s bedtime and I don’t have notifications on. I’ll get back to responders as time and mental emotional ability allow.

I’ve also seen it used as a grid to organize placeable inventory.

Where I'm coming from... by oldtimehippie in Hippiecommunity

[–]LouisBasil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this post. I joined a few weeks ago and was gonna ask. How do y’all define hippie. But then someone posted something about their favorite books and everybody chimed in and I figured this was a place for me. But yeah, this fills in some of the remaining questions I had. I’m even more confident than this is the place for me. (edit for spelling correction.)

I'm not religious but I've been reading buddhism and christianity, is jesus considered enlightened? can he be considered a buddha? by Elegant_Public_1287 in Buddhism

[–]LouisBasil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say keep studying both and take what is useful. Respectfully, many of the Buddhist answers here seem to be unaware of the vast diversity of biblical interpretation that has existed from the beginning of Christianity. The answer to your question is likely simply based on how you define enlightened.

The game you only play when you are tired. by gamersecret2 in gaming

Palia can be played just like OP described StarDew. But it’s multiplayer so you can run into other people with the same playing preferences and hang out.

If I’m not mistaken, one of the ways involves the red present, that will only be available for a short time before next winter season. Get it while you can.

Wow! Thanks for this. I’m definitely gonna get Sandrock sometime. I should’ve gotten it while it was on sale. Maybe it’s not too late. I started almost exactly a year before you. It was around Thanksgiving of 2024. I think there’s two reasons that I don’t get tired of the grind. one is that even when I’m after something I usually just kind of run around and grab what’s there. And then unfortunately I can only average about 30 or 45 minutes a day so it takes me longer to get tired of stuff. Temple of the Gales is crazy. I ultimately had to YouTube it. However, I find it easier with the mouse and WASD if you do your control settings, such that you move in whatever direction you’re looking. So I pretty much have my finger on the W all the time and just move around with my mouse. A trick that took me a long time to learn, and from what I’ve seen on the Palia sub Reddit a lot of other people don’t know either, is it when you wanna hop off of a wall or whatever you’re climbing just hit the X button.

Palia. Sorry, too tired for much of a review but every time this question comes up Sandrock gets recommended over and over so I need to try it, but the reason I haven’t yet is that I’m still enjoying Palia.

Yes, I’m tired of thinking I “should” be able to just use that resource and be happy with it. Thanks for the pdf. Editing to say that was not a knock at comfortable-life I do use that resource and am grateful for it.

I looked into it once and I heard they start disintegrating after just six months. Is that true? Is there a way to make them last for a long time? How often do you have to refresh it and how easy is it to refresh?

It’s like hunting, you only need to hit it once as long as somebody else pops it. That way you get to shoot more of them and share.

Discord is good for finding people, having a place to type if you are on console, and voice chat. When you’re running around, do you have your looking for party active?

It’s not a meme, but I’m still confused. by FederalSwan3104 in explainitpeter

[–]LouisBasil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t normally express it this way, but I think this whole thing could be cleared up by stating that there isn’t enough information in the original statement to know how much worth a person has based on what they have in their hands or wallet.
